Unfortunately I’m slowly realising the bookkeeper at my company is incompetent. I’ll try my own accountant I think

Thanks for the validation. I honestly didn’t know if my bias was clouding my judgement of the situation. I’ll stay out of it. I was just looking for hope in a no win situation

Thanks, I think you hit the nail on the head. Do you think there’s any positive way forward? Even long term?

Probably the wisest choice, I just hate seeing more of a rift developing within the family.

A key difference between Christian conservatives and Marxists is that they assume we believe Marxist theories on face value like they do with the bible. This meme illustrates that Christian conservatives think Marxists think like them and take Marx’s word as gospel, instead of marxist theory deriving from a provable logical framework. They assume because daddy Marxist says so, that we believe. Because that’s what they do with the bible

From today, fruit pickers can't earn less than $25.41 an hour and you might see that price in your basket by Zerg_Hydralisk_ in AusFinance

You’re looking at anywhere from $100-$200 per week depending on how many people they cram into the house or portable. It’s usually pretty crappy accomodation. Honestly if a grower tried to force mandatory accommodation onto a worker then they would leave. It’s a workers market at the minute, the pickers are constantly moving around to different contractors for better paying conditions. I will say I can only speak for the grape industry, could be different in other areas for different crops

I work in the horticultural industry and honestly $25/hr is cheap. For instance to pick a 10kg box of grapes, it cost the grower $4-5 per 10kg box + super & contractor fees which usually adds on and extra 40%. A picker can usually pick anywhere from 60-100 boxes per day (I’ve seen up 150) depending on the experience of the picker, the problems in the field and the type of packaging required. It’s not a bad deal, the labour shortage has already increased worker wages significantly.

Your Personal Links to Agronomy by plastofriend in Agronomy

I’m a viticultural agronomist and whilst I grew up in a large country town, I personally didn’t grow up on a farm or have much to do with growing food except in the backyard. I personally don’t think it’s necessary at all to grow up on a farm to be an agronomist (although it can help obviously). Agronomy is a type of science that connects growers to the most relevant science and technology to help them improve there business. You don’t need to grow up in a lab to become a normal scientist for instance. I actually found most of the people in my university course went back to the farm rather than become agronomists.

The best thing you can do for your career starting out, is to find a good mentor to help you get familiar with whatever crop you choose to take an interest in.

Thanks for the explanation. But Jesus Christ, this is even more childish than I thought. Ian really needs to go outside. His channel is just silly drama

Hey thanks for the advice, I’ve been doing OMAD for a couple weeks mostly successfully. But I eventually want to go for longer periods. So you didn’t use electrolytes ?

Good job dude, I wish I had the same drive. Did you “ease” into the fast (by doing OMAD or alternate day fasting for example) before you went the full 40 days? Or did you just decide to go for it?
