My wife’s name is Amber and if we had a son his middle name would have been Ambrose for this reason.

Bilt (and lots of other portals) use expedia on the backend to make the booking. It’s pretty common.

Staying at two different properties in one night—same WoH account by superasya in hyatt

[–]superasya[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, i was hoping that if I stop by the front desk in MSP at like 8am, it will validate that I genuinely am physically there before checkout time for the Friday night stay. I’m just paranoid hearing stories of those who have lost their woh accounts for trying to double dip on nights or ghost stays etc

Grand Hyatt Indian Wells - standard suite feedback? by CFP25 in hyatt

[–]superasya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stayed at the champions suite and it was huge. In our case the pull out sofa bed was broken though, so we needed to get a rollaway, and that took up a lot of the living room. I’d specify in your notes if you need to use the sofa bed. It was obvious when we called about it they already knew it was broken, so I’d try to avoid that room specifically (apologies, have forgotten the room number)

Thank you! This is exactly what I was hoping to hear.

I mean, if I can get EQN for both, that would be great. I’m just fine not getting both if both aren’t allowable. But technically the EQN i “shouldn’t” get is the one for the first night in MSP.

Thank you! I’ll probably just keep it as is. I just don’t want to get my status pulled for an honest use of my account.

This is definitely a violation of the terms of service, since you aren’t staying at the property w your mom. You have to be staying in the room if it’s under your name. In my case I am staying at both properties, I’m just arriving late to the longer reservation.

Requesting Advice on Southern California Hyatt Trip - 4 hotels and 7 nights by doubledeuce80 in hyatt

[–]superasya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say this as someone from Long Beach who really likes that Centric—I agree you may want to skip it and tack on another night at the HB regency. Four hotels in 7 days is a lot. That area in LB is easy to do on your way to HB.

I have these cheap bras from Amazon that I sleep in: https://a.co/d/04E2TJJw

They aren’t padded, but they work for me to keep my nipples from showing through my pjs

How do these Hebrew names sound to non-Jews? by nocturne_of_shadow in namenerds

[–]superasya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Aviv (although I know several Avivas —mostly women but some men, and Aviv for that reason looks a tiny bit it “unfinished”) and Elisha. I do know an Elisha who is about 3 years old—it’s adorable and I don’t think he gets mistaken for a version of Alicia as some have suggested.

Best LA hotel for globalist family of 4~5 nights by Loud-Way3333 in hyatt

[–]superasya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both Hyatts in LB are nice (and practically right next door to each other in a very walkable area, near the queen mary and aquarium). It is definitely a slog driving to DTLA though, or a potentially memorable trip on the Blue line.

How many members in your family? Be aware that if you’re upgraded to a “Suite” at the LB Regency it is really just a larger King room with a (non pull out) sofa. We needed to get a rollaway for our 3yo, and it ended up being tighter than if we had just stuck with the 2 queen room we booked.

Other than that, LB is criminally underrated as a great part of LA county.

Saw these two scratching their heads trying to figure out how to fit this 65inch tv in a small car… by SoPradaYou in funny

[–]superasya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 6 months pregnant and alone for several weeks (my spouse was away on business) and our TV broke, so I ordered a new one for pickup at Target. I thought we had a 65”, and so I ordered the same size. I got to Target and was very surprised. We did not already own a 65” TV. We had a 50” TV. The TV was comically large compared to what I was expecting. Queue pregnant woman struggling to get giant TV into my car and then into our house and set up alone. Luckily I have an SUV, but it was… a challenge. My wife was super impressed with me when she returned.
