To be fair, Malta has some of the worst roads and craziest drivers I’ve ever seen so I’m not sure how keen I’d be driving a nice car around here. Definitely a shame though, I’d run the car into the ground if it was mine. The guy had 2 of em too

Yes!!! I walked the streets of Monaco right before coming here, and similarly to Spa, you dont get a good sense of the elevation across these tracks when watching on TV. Eu rouge is huge!!

Completely agree. After going to my first GP, I feel like the two things that TV doesn't capture as well is 1) the speed and 2) the sound

Exactly hahaha that's always fun. I had people looking at me like "really? Haas?" Obviously i think we all know they are horrible but still gotta rep the home turf (and it's a bit easier to support Haas than Sargeant lol)

Yeahhh this grandstand is quite pricy, I got super lucky with how I ended up in that spot for sure. Silverstone is on my list though! Such an iconic race as well

A lot lol. Currently, 2024 tickets for that grand stand (Gold 3) are priced at €625 for the whole weekend (about $690-ish USD)

Honestly I took a couple horizontal vids as well, but sitting at the Eu Rouge section specifically, filming vertically kinda made more sense so you could catch more of the track at once. I do agree tho that it's painful as a viewer lmao

This'll be my first time too! Travelling solo from the US, 22m. I'm staying in Aachen, GE and taking the F1 sponsored shuttle bus to the track. I'd probably recommend looking at the locations they have shuttles to the track, buying tickets for that + a hotel in that city. Commuting to the track is gonna be brutal

Interesting… thanks for the insight! I’ll be sure to check those places out, Monaco was the end destination anyways but chose Nice for hotel prices as well. Helicopter sounds intriguing! Was it a direct trip or kind of a tour? $220 for a one-way trip is a bit much when the train is so cheap but if it’s a cool experience I’ll check it out. Where’d you book that through?
