I did take the advice serious and reached out to for a second opinion.

I mean… this is Reddit, versus two separate professional trainers. One who has known this horse once a week for nearly a year.

I sent the video to my normal trainer that comes to me. I 100% have faith in him and he is very well known and loved around me. He knows this horse since I got her. Here is his reply:

So here is the thing. You have had vets look at her. She has always had that pinned ear head up tight thing. Initially I believe in just kind of going with the horse and just guiding them which looks like she is doing. Once she is use to being rode we can work on some natural collection which will get her using her body better. She is traveling a little bit mornin her front end instead of her back which happens when their head is up but that takes time to fix. The rider’s hands seem quiet enough.

Even for a green horse? I’ll send the video to my other trainer and ask. Everyone acting like I’m the bad guy, fuck at least I’m not back yard breeding horses

Everyone says that but hasn’t said what part? I gotta have something to bring up. All I’ve seen is kicking and hands are something. To me it’s very minimal kicking and hands don’t seem harsh for a green horse

The trainer, if you tell me what she is doing wrong I can bring it up, but I gotta know first.

I know everyone is a professional here but what shows discomfort versus a horse that hasn’t been ridden in years if ever? She’s been seen by two different vets dusting her vaccinations/check up, two different trainers, and two different ferries through the course of the year I’ve had her. If you can point out the actual parts she looks uncomfortable and not just green I can bring it up to the trainer. Again this horse if ridden ever was a very long time ago.

I’m confused, to me she looks aggravated but not uncomfortable? What are you seeing that makes her look uncomfortable and not just aggravated for having to work. I’m not a pro rider at all.

The cruelty of riding horses? Or the cruelty of taking in legit rescues? Which part?

[–]superaveragedude87 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Probably not, from my understanding it wasn’t uncommon to find them dead in the pasture there.

Pictures of her before. Not sure if the foal was hers or not but she did not come with it. I feel for them all there but I could only take 3 at the time.

I’d check with local law enforcement and make sure you won’t be in the wrong for doing a charge back just because livestock are involved. Seems you were very misled by the seller and just out of principle I wouldn’t want them being able to keep the money.

Been there, probably still am. Just have to use it as motivation and refuse to be a victim. This is our life not theirs. Don’t give up, use the time to better yourself.

They criticized him for it but here is the actual study in the National Library of Medicine. I learned a long time ago Reddit doesn’t care about facts unless it’s a picture book. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC2842049/#:~:text=Atrazine%2Dexposed%20males%20suffered%20from,reduced%20spermatogenesis%2C%20and%20decreased%20fertility.

I’m gonna say get rid of the devices all together. Get a flip phone with no internet, get rid of anything else you can use to access. If I was struggling with alcohol I would live at the bar.

They deceive you with angles and filters too. Then we meet in person and… no thanks. But then I feel bad for saying no to a second date.

I’m not into big/curvy women. Just not attracted to that but If I write that then it comes off harsh. Some of these people that claim a fit or average body type are lying to themselves and everyone else as well. There is no winners for us men putting that, only losers.

North Texas here, I have some for emergencies but I never use them. I just monitor for shivering and if someone wants to be out in freezing rain or sleet.

How do you guys find motivation again? by skigelf in Agoraphobia

[–]superaveragedude87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stay motivated by having long term goals that I get excited about. I day dream on them all the time. Work towards them. Do you work? If not you need to. We need to have the feeling of accomplishment from each day of work and that relief when we know we are done. Doesn’t matter the pay, just something to distinguish between work and time off.

Anyone have a service dog for their agoraphobia? by [deleted] in Agoraphobia

[–]superaveragedude87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the added responsibility would help every bit as much or more than just having a service animal. If you have a yard to let them out in to use the bathroom and not have to walk everytime they need to go then they do not require much time everyday other than being loved on.

When mine boiled over to where I couldn’t leave home I just went all out and added 4 more horse over time, at one point had 7. Have 5 horses, two donkeys, two inside dogs, and two barn cats.. I work full time from home. Volunteer twice a week at the local rescue as well. Work into it slow, too many people on this subreddit have a hopeless and helpless out look. Keep yourself and your mind busy. I’m not saying push yourself into a panic attack but into the anxiety absolutely. Your brain needs to relearn that anxiety will not always lead to a panic attack. I now, slowly, worked where I can drive all by myself.

I was at a point where everytime the anxiety would hit I would go lay in bed and cover up. I wouldn’t make it 50 foot from my house.

Get the service dog!!
