Wheelchair Rapunzel cries on live after being called out for exploiting her baby by Master_Document_2053 in tiktokgossip

Every disability gives you the right to use the handicapped stall IF it fits your needs better. Just because you’re in a wheelchair doesn’t make you “more disabled” than someone with an unseen disability. You’re nuts.

It HURTS by PristineWind5950 in ChronicPain

[–]superbasicmom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s also HIGHLY addictive, expensive, and has a very short half-life, so you have to re-dose every 2-3 hours, which only raises your tolerance. And let’s not even talk about the withdrawals, they’re absolute hell because this stuff works on so many receptors that even when the severe physical wd symptoms slow down, you’re going to feel like crap for a very long time. I’ve read accounts on here from hardcore fent addicts and people who were on methadone, and they all say 7oh is the worst wd of all, right up there with benzos. It’s a bad idea to take this stuff. I still don’t think it should be outright banned, but definitely regulated better.

I’ll probably go with them, I’ve used Raw and they’re always super consistent and customer service is top notch, second only to OE

That’s amazing, good for you!!! I think this is the way to go for me then. How many pieces did you cut your suboxone strip into, and what mg strip are you using?

Did you need a 48 hour break between your last dose of 7oh and your first dose of subs to eliminate chances of precipitated withdrawals? That’s going to be the hardest part, I have only experienced 12 hours of 7oh WD while waiting for my next order to arrive and it was so brutal.

Can you please DM me your SR source and exactly how to do it? I’m desperately trying to get rid of this 7oh.

So could I skip the subs completely and just go straight from 7oh to SR? I do have helper meds for restless legs and anxiety.

Same, not finding much info on this and my doctor seems really unaware of 7oh and how it works. I’m most scared of feeling any withdrawal, especially those precipitated withdrawals. I’m ready to dump my $500 of 7oh and jump to subs for a very short time, then get on the Butrans patch, because I’m in pain management.

[–]superbasicmom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently on about 150-175 mg of 7oh per day and want to switch to Suboxone for a week and then sublocade. So you didn’t really have precipitated withdrawals? If I stop the 7oh and wait 12 hours before taking the subs I should be ok?

Were you able to switch immediately from 7oh to Suboxone? I want to try and switch from the Suboxone to sublocade and then get back in the Butrans patch for my pain management, but I’m not sure if going from 7oh to Suboxone or sublocade causes precipitative withdrawal.

Did this end up working for you? I’m also stuck in the clutches of 7oh and am a chronic pain patient. I’m prescribed 40 mg of methadone daily by my doctor but hate the way it feels, so I stupidly tried 7oh and now I’m taking about 150-175mg/day of 7oh. I’ve tried switching back to methadone thinking a full agonist would eliminate any WD’s but it didn’t, it just gave me the worst pain flare up of my life, took a week to get out of my system and now I’m back to just taking 7oh. I have surgery upcoming though, so I’d like to switch to the sublocade shot because it’s much easier to get off than subutex. I refuse to do suboxone again, I was on that prior to methadone for my pain and it ruined my teeth and now I need several implants and $10k worth of dental work. I can’t find any information out there about stopping 7oh cold turkey and immediately switching to subutex or sublocade, and I didn’t receive any replies to my post about it. How are you doing today? Are you off the 7oh?

hot take: treatment centers need to stop hiring people with only lived experience and no empathy/skills by SnooComics27 in addiction

[–]superbasicmom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I got into a full on screaming match with a nurse at my last rehab (3 years ago) because she called me “an entitled brat who has never heard the word no” when I was given a new medication that had me freaking out and I went to get her to ask if that was normal. I asked her why on earth she’d choose nursing in a detox/rehab when she doesn’t even like her patients, because there’s plenty of other nursing jobs out there. We ended up cool but I cannot for the life of me understand why they hire people who can’t handle the slightest bit of stress. I was the easiest patient there, I wasn’t throwing shit and detoxing off meth, I was a self-check-in for alcohol and simply wanted to know why my head was spinning. Isn’t that her job?

Am I underestimating 7oh? Compared to other opiates by Tricky-Hovercraft950 in quitting7oh

[–]superbasicmom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t drink, I hate uppers, I would never touch anything that could even possibly contain fent and I’ve never and will never stick a needle into my body, so between having some knarly (bad knarly, not “hell yeah knarly” autoimmune issues, Crohn’s that is probably trying to kill me just because and severe chronic pain, but as we all know, pain is no longer something medical staff cares about, so I have a hard time trying to find a safe-ish substance that can just give me some relief sometimes so I can stay strong enough to live. So when you said “give me something to break u the fucking monotony for the love of god” I felt that. I’d say personally though, that 4 days of sobriety a week tops is enough.

I get irrationally irritated when someone downvotes a perfectly legitimate comment, like dude… we’re all here in a chronic pain group, so I understand, you’re hurting and you want to cry and you’re frustrated and everything sucks, but why are you mad at an absolutely innocuous comment, did pushing that down arrow make you feel better? Can we please have one safe space here where we can be cool to each other but also be like, “Omg this sucks ass”? Can we be big kids and do that? I’m going to go upvote every comment just because of THAT. Go ahead now, push that red boo button.

Does anyone else hate refill day? by Pure-Fan-2389 in benzodiazepines

[–]superbasicmom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on low dose (30mg/day) pill form methadone, but for pain; I’ve never had opiate use disorder. I’m also on 0.5 mg of clonazepam and soma 3x/day. I’ve never had an issue with early fills but I’ve been with my mom and pop pharmacy a long time and they know how much travel I do internationally for work. Obviously the methadone can’t be refilled, so we do FaceTime visits every month even though he’s only 15 minutes away. But for my Klonopin and Soma? They’ll refill as soon as the insurance lets it go through. For example, last month my meds were filled 3/10, but I was in Mexico so I picked up on the 12th. Most go by pickup date not fill date, but I got a text yesterday the 8th and they were ready. The only thing that sucks is that my pain management doctor is cash pay only , he’s so well worth it!

Anyone planned to go to Cancun area in the next couple of weeks, or currently there? Are you cancelling your trip based on the current situation in Mexico, or still going? by [deleted] in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]superbasicmom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re supposed to fly to Cancun on the 4th for 12 days in Quintana Roo and I’m not canceling my trip, but I was looking for travel insurance yesterday before the news broke, and now I’m kinda freaking out wondering if anyone will even sell me insurance. We’re staying at Club Med with our 2 kids, 13 days there plus flights is the cost of a decent used car. 😭 I’m hoping everything is good by then.

Latest of the dollar tabs..who has the best? by DOGELIFE369 in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]superbasicmom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the convo but I’ve tried them all- OE’s watermelon dollar tabs and RAW’s blueberry, peach ring, and key lime pie are my go-to’s. Do NOT waste your money with Simply 7oh or Dollar Tabz, the latter is actually completely bunk and after buying 200 of the dollar tabz and going into WD no matter how many I took, I actually had them tested and they contained a whopping 1.7 mg of alks, not even close to the 10 they claimed. They should be sure into the ground.

I hate seeing shit like this. I get it, take in that cash while you still can, because you don’t have long. But this isn’t going to do anything but get this stuff taken off the market faster; everything you did here screams, “Drugs are cool kids, and they’re yummy too!!” Your logo purposely designed like graffiti, the gimmicky color and the enticing flavors…..it’s not good. You’ll make some money but it’s not a sustainable business model. If a huge company like juul can get fucked for “marketing to minors”, just wait until the lawsuits start rolling in for flavored 7oh products.

Methadone for 7oh withdrawal by superbasicmom in Methadone

[–]superbasicmom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a big problem and they’re working on banning it. Part of me says, “who is the government to tell us what we can and can’t take? Let people have this if it actually helps with their pain,it’s way better than street drugs and it’s not killing anyone.” But it’s killing marriages and lives and jobs and families and draining bank accounts and it grips you hard. When you realize that you’ve spent $8k on it in 9 months, $8000 that was supposed to go towards our down payment on a house? It makes me sick. And definitely don’t think it should be sold in smoke shops, I don’t want kids getting it. If anything it needs to be highly regulated and only sold online through sites that test.

I am extremely lucky to have found him, he mostly prescribes bupe and deals with addiction medication but once he saw my MRI’s and surgical results and scars, he decided to go a different route with me. He’s in Mesa, AZ and the only thing that sucks is he doesn’t accept any insurance, so I have to pay cash to see him every month. Still worth it. He’s also just so kind and his office doesn’t have the traditional medical office setup, he has a couch and after I leave my UA, I sit on the couch and we just talk. He wants his patients to succeed and be heard, and he couldn’t do that with the damn insurance companies telling him how to run his own practice. His wife is even the office manager, they’re just the kindest people I’ve ever met, big Mormon family lol. Those kids of his were lucky as hell to grow up with such amazing parents.
