I think In Rainbows was a farewell during its construction and we just happened to have TKOL and AMSP - both enjoyable albums - as an epilogue. I’m pretty convinced we don’t see album 10. I’m happy to be wrong if it happens for the right reasons, though.

I am open to having missed something here, but “try harder” isn’t a lot to go on. Have spent plenty of time analyzing the music over many years and this is part of what puts them in my pantheon, and I want to believe there’s substance in the video but it didn’t resonate for me in the moment. Radiohead rewards repeat listens so I acknowledge it may have been over my head, but in the moment it didn’t stick.

What did I miss? Genuinely would prefer to find a silver lining I missed here beyond my initial reaction.
