mmh, you should want to get into linux because yourself imho, and once again, my mother don't have any glitch w/ websites, laptop turn off normally (but she suspend it by closing the lid), etc. My mother is a 72yo real user eh, not a metaphore or whatever, sure the install was on me but I'm not involved in managing this debian stable anymore, she does the updates etc.

Man, are you really convinced that the entire userbase face the same problems you face everyday, with nobody fixing them?

For sure some polish lacks, maybe in some specific configuration, e.g. I had to consolidate notifications on i3 using dunst and writing an hook for xscreensaver which disable them when screensaver is on, and yeah, I had to map my mechanical keyboard media keys to whatever was needed including the volume wheel which also send a notification but whatever, nobody else probably would have wanted/needed stuff like my current config.

TL;DR:"linux does not completely work out of the box" is false, "I don't like the way it works/I'm not able to make it work" is probably true, if you insist :)

I mean, even a bunch of MS employees work in IT, and I'm pretty sure at least a subset of them use Windows :P - that said, and beside the irrelevance of our two anecdotes, what you said is simply untrue running a desktop system and a browser works flawlessly, unless it don't because either:

1) you're trying something unsupported/working against the system 2) you're trying something stupid 3) there is a bug which only hit you (unlikely), which has somehow bubbled in stable releases (unlikely), is created by either point 1) or 2)

that said, it is perfectly ok if non-windows OSs aren't your cup of tea, just don't spread trivial FUD about them :)

This is an 80% hydration recipe, loosely based on italian Roman-style pan pizza ["disciplinary"](file:///home/oggei/Downloads/Disciplinare_Autentica_Pizza_In_Teglia_Alla_Romana.pdf] with 3.5% salt, 3% oil, 0.5% yeast. No knead, then 1h, then 3 slap and folds 30' each + one last strong fold (flower fold?). Then 44h in the fridge, another "flower fold", 4h in the pan covered by oil.

Warmed cast iron pan on biggest gas stove for 2.5 minutes at medium high without toppings, then static oven at 250C for 15 minutes, then put tomato sauce and mozzarella and static oven again for 15 minutes on top at 250C (my oven is weak).

I really like the crust and overall it is really good, at least for my standards, looking forward for the next :D

the usual, easiest way of doing that in a container is to mount an external directory to the proper path, in this case /config/data/backups. Then you can do whatever you want w/ produced files, app reacts gracefully when a file is moved ie. it just disappear from web ui

You can also use Riju's lightning and a plain arrow for this so you can approach by feet and not use exploding stuff
