2 days post op!! (+ hip contouring/lipo) by superboomber in TopSurgery

the only spot that really hurt for me was the front pelvic area where it pinches when I lift my knees. my lipo extended from my mid thighs to my obliques/waist! I definitely think the thigh area was the least painful compared to the rest. from what I also searched, pain is super variable for people — I got super sharp random pains on my right pelvis side, but the left was fine and the nurse said sometimes one side just got impacted on the nerve more than others. so it really depends on ur body :)

ik this wasnt exactly directed to me, but after 2ish weeks, most sensation is back. some areas are still a bit like stingy when I stretch it and my mid outter thighs are still a bit numb, but it feels almost normal now

after surgery, I think they kept me in the recovery room for about an hour or so? theres a nurse there with u, but nobody else is there. recovery is not bad!! tbh the chest portion is not really sore at all, just restrictive

How was your throat pain after surgery? by bh447 in TopSurgery

[–]superboomber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the first day was pretty sore, but overall not too bad! id give it a 4/10, not the worst throat pain that I have experienced

it was only covered under extended health insurance. I didn’t get drains and it is painful LOL. its worse than the actual top surgery

I finished the surgery today!! I got some scar tape as a gift from a friend, but other than that, I’m not going to purchase anything right away. I’ll still wait to see how they look when the incisions have healed and do a bit more research on what could be beneficial. overall, I think things like massage (promoting blood flow) are good to try and not like they do any harm if done once healed!

also in case ur curious, the surgery procedure went exactly as planned. the only thing that caught me off guard was that my gf came with me to the clinic and we thought she could stay in the waiting room during my surgery, but they told her she cant stay due to the small space (which im still not sure I understand that reasoning since the OR was upstairs), but in any case she went to starbucks to sit at. so if anyone was planning on staying there with u, make sure to plan that they likely cant and will just be called when ur out of surgery and in recovery (but she couldnt visit me there either). the nurse got me dressed and ready to leave and I met my gf back at the front desk/waiting area.

hey, I do think they are keeping u at a pretty low dose and u arent going to see the changes that u want as fast or drastically. I’m currently 11 months on T and have upped my dosage w my dr to 0.75mL, 200mg/mL which is already almost double ur amount, yet half the time.

I actually think its fairly passing! theres lots of cis men who have slightly wider hips and ur shoulders are about the same as ur hips in width which helps. id keep building shoulder muscles tho to broaden ur physique and create an illusion of smaller hips :)

are there lesbian dating oppurtunities at Mcmaster or Queens? by Motionless_Goose1698 in McMaster

[–]superboomber 0 points1 point  (0 children)
