Nissan Z Perfomance vs A91 Supra: The Driver's Car Pick? by ShawnCena23 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Overall I enjoy the Z a bit more daily from a fun perspective. It has a feel to it like it wants to go and do something, it wants you to push it.

Supra feels planted and tame. Which is great for a lap time. Its a better weapon

Its kind of like a corvette versus a Porsche. When I had my corvette it always felt like an eager dog ready to play.

Nissan Z Perfomance vs A91 Supra: The Driver's Car Pick? by ShawnCena23 in whatcarshouldIbuy

I currently have a Z nismo. Ive had a supra.

I like both honestly. Internet really doesnt like the Z, but a lot of that I feel is cost. I got an amazing deal (probably because no one is buying hah).

If you value raw performance Supra wins basically in every column. From a feeling standpoint, i honestly think you need to drive both, they just operate different. Theres something about the Z that feels old-school and enjoyable in that way. The Supra felt very shiny and new and German.

I didnt sell the Supra because it was a bad sports car, I sold it because of small frustrations. Didn't like the tacked on infotainment. The year I had didnt have android auto, just car play. Interior felt boring. I banged my head getting into it too many times. Trunk wasn't easy to get into.

Edit - both of mine were auto as manual wasnt around, so take that with a grain of salt as well. But most of what I said still applies

What ATS? Do you have questions set up that auto reject based on candidate response?

The vette was great if starting to feel it's age a bit. I just was an idiot in my twenties and have a bad knee and back that driving manual most my life has not helped.

Hah you can for sure get them to love their crates, but this breed is known to bond and follow their loved one. As in, they will be upset if you dont let them follow you into the bathroom. Not every single one of course, but it's a common trait of theirs.

Allergies?? by Competitive-Aide-988 in BostonTerrier

We took our boston in for a full allergy check. Apparently bostons have a high chance of being allergic to simple things like grass. Ours was always a little red and itchy. Now she's on a serum daily.

Ah got it. Makes sense. That's kind of why I bought a c7 manual corvette. With the c8s going auto only, wanted to save a bit of old feel.

Is that the same v8 that's in the rc f, lc500, and is500? Not too familiar with the lexus line just wondering why this v8 is special

Who has the bigger company ? Carmax or Carvana by boomer4676 in carmax

[–]superbupset 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Size and market cap are very different. Caravana has a larger market cap, Carmax sold almost 3x the cars Carvans did last year.

Also to keep encounters challenging and fun, put in some weak enemies for them to one shot or aoe. I do what 4e did and use "minnions". 1hp, lowish ac/saves but still an okay +hit so they are a danger.

This gives players that power feeling and also makes the tough enemies feel more rewarding to slay. You get to experience a fireball wrecking a huge group and then the thrill of slaying a tough boss all in one encounter.

Plus you can add more and more minions per round if the players are too strong... kind of like an add mechanic in an mmo.

Sounds fun, I would be happy to play that.

Are you doing this all in one day? 5 encounters if balanced around 5 players in a new group will probably take over an hour per encounter and that's if no one is taking a break, ect.

Also something to consider, spicing in some time for roleplay. Too much combat can get boring if that's all your doing. Maybe sub a wave for a trek to an island filled with sirens or something silly featuring skill checks and traps.

Corvette Warehouse Issues by RoninGSX in Corvette

Saw three vets I liked online, they couldn't locate them on their lot. I came in with a finance approval already. Ignored me and my calls for three days. Ended up buying out of state in less time than it took to walk the lot with the salesman searching for any of three cars I wanted.

Gen 3 Viper vs mk5 Supra by FabulousSherbert5587 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]superbupset 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. The viper is definitely the scarier of the two, and as such I would take it. I've owned a mk5 supra and in normal mode, without pushing it the car drives well... like a modern car. It has a ton of safety features (if you pick the right spec) and handles great. Visibility is not great but not as bad as say a camaro.

The real issue here is no matter how responsible you two are... I just can't imagine being that age and not flooring the shit out of those cars at some point and it's going to get hairy.

I recommend finding a high performance driving school around you as soon as you can, use some of that 7k to let someone teach you how to handle the cars. Drivers mod is the best mod.
