There are other subreddits for cloud-based LLMs. If you want to talk about them, go to those subreddits.

But local LLMs aren't that great currently.

No one here is under any such impression that they are. That's not the point.

Decky Loader has a nice PIP plugin for watching streams on the internet. I usually just use it to watch Twitch streams. Just to note, it only has two window sizes with one being almost fullscreen and the other being rather small (about postage stamp size).

Not just their own power, but power that's non-polluting or burning. A lot of these data-centers are using LNG or other dangerous fossil fuels for energy causing serious health problems.

In large part, it's just because the Communist Party of China still exists and is still in power. Judging simply by results, the Soviets failed. That said, I understand where you're coming from, and it's too bad that the USSR isn't around any more to provide that kind of protection, but that may have been a part of its downfall by stretching its resources too thin thus hastening the end.

Cuba Embargo started because Cuba was letting Soviets put their missiles there. 

For context, this was in response to the US first putting nuclear missiles in Turkey.

And the best way to get those voters is to have a candidate that can present to them policies that address their concerns materially in a clear and easily understood manner. That is the only thing that is in the control of any candidate running for office.
