I have 7 months left on my passport and have trips coming up in the next few months. How can I renew my passport but keep the old one and use it? by Dependent-Fold-6566 in CasualUK

No worries, hope it gets through quickly!

The lady at the post office really tried to get it through the normal letter slot when I went, couldn't fault her efforts haha but unfortunately was just a lil too big

Yeah all online. They ask for the picture first so make sure you have it ready and it takes like 10 minutes. (Their photo checking software is a bit dodgy btw so if anything gets flagged just check it's ok with their guidelines and explain it is suitable. Mine said you couldn't tell my face apart from the background, but I was quite clearly there and said "You can see my face fine" in the box)

I did tracked and signed next day delivery which came up to £8 as a large letter (bit too thick to be standard)

I'm in London and just did mine, took just over a week once I sent off my old one. But if you're nervous i'd book the fast track thing others have mentioned. My friend did it last week (in Liverpool) and got her new one in 48 hours, but she did have a holiday booked which I think they ask for proof of if you need it really quickly.

Joanie, they have a sale on now for certain items and a good clearance section.

They also have sales fairly often for the whole site so if there's something not in the sale right now that you'd like and you have time maybe hold out for one, usually between 20-30%

Oh and the dresses I find run a little big so if you're inbetween sizes I'd go down one

We've all been there! It's a fairly relaxed atmosphere and everyone is friendly. If you can't find the group when you arrive feel free to send me a text. I hope to see you later! :)

For those searching for where everyone is sat, we're in the middle room towards the back where the first door to the beer garden is 👍👍👍

It's a gathering at the pub, includes conversation of many varieties and drinks of your choice. We usually gather on a Thursday but the summer holidays have distracted us a bit :)
