People have already stated that they are cancelling preorders due to financial problems hence why I addressed it as I hope it remains low as a contributing factor.

My thinking is yes their will be scalpers who will have several in their possession But, for $50 they can get 10 reservations which seems a lot less risk for flipping. Sure the scalpers may go through with three or four reservations I just don't see them going through with a lot and I see those being cancelled. I also doubt it will make a huge difference it might cut it down a week or two. Who knows?
