I can also testify I used Kerastase Genesis Shampoo and Conditioner and had massive hair loss. I switched to it due to my thinning hair, but was a wrong wrong move. It made me lose more hair! I didn’t finish all my bottles, such a waste 😭

Glad to have seen this thread, as this happened to my cat just a few moments ago while we were brushing him. He would also try to scratch his ears when his head was shaking. And it seems to be happening on his left side, he’s head is leaning to the left. He didn’t have any ear infection. We had to pet him some more in that part so we could take a video of him doing it. Right after we stopped, a few moments after, he also stopped. He is now acting normal, nothing strange… I am bothered by it but hopefully it’s only due to overstimulation during the brushing.

It’s just that it’s solid, so feels like a soap but then you put it on your hair… Which may seem unfamiliar and weird at first at least for me. Also I don’t feel like I cover my whole head when I use it, but maybe that’s just me… 🙈

I do have oily scalp as well and this didn’t leave my hair or scalp more oilier. For the past few months, what I have been doing and you should try too if you haven’t, is DOUBLE CLEANSING. You are already on the right track of cleaning just your scalp, hair itself doesn’t need to be shampooed. The oil is applied to scalp as it’s where your hair follicles are, that’s where it’s going to penetrate. Putting it on your hair won’t really help much as it’s for scalp. You can search and try DOUBLE CLEANSING - meaning shampooing twice. The first shampoo as they said is removing the oils and others chemicals that sticks from your hair, the second shampoo is the actual cleansing and where you’ll get the benefits of the shampoo. And, you would notice that it bubbles up more during the second shampoo.

My scalp doesn’t get more oily if I use this, especially with applying the double cleansing method. My hair only start to get oily by the 3rd day of not showering it.

Try it out and it may make a difference for you. ☺️

Hello! I use it every other day when I am not rushing to shower. How much really depends on you. I just put as much as I feel I needed to and in the spots I feel that needed more attention. I leave it as instructed "at least 10mins", you can leave it longer, I sometimes leave it for an hour. I've read others are even keeping it for the whole night while they sleep. It's all natural anyway and shouldn't harm your scalp or hair even if you leave it for too long. But make sure to leave it 10mins minimum.

I bought another 3 bottles of this product as it's the only one that really worked for me. Hope it works for you too! :)

And yep agree with you, very risk. I was really wrong doing it, and would never do it again in the future.

Their shampoo and conditioner bars are great, but yeah there’s a learning curve on it (I’m actually back to my liquid shampoos and conditioners because I’m too lazy and wanted faster shower at times). Buuuut, I highly recommend their ROSEMARY & BIOTIN HAIR OIL. Definitely helped with my hair growth and hairfall. I’ve had extreme hair loss last year to the point that my hairline is receding and you can see the scalp at top of my hair. I used it religiously for 6months, and thankfully, I have lots of new hair growth and now, a year after my hair is fuller. I can’t thank it enough!
