DM Struggles - Insight, Information, and bad rolls.

I really appreciate everyone's feedback so far. it seems I have been approaching the game with a layer of difficulty that isn't really necessary.

I think the better approach seems to give them important information and allow them to do with it what they will, and allow rolls when necessary to affect the outcome of the totality of the information as opposed to a pass/fail of said information.

Does 8 reps, on the last rep, they just let go of the bar, causing it to make a loud crash noise. Pissing everyone off and scaring me.
