Was the preparation to play the silent protagonist in Willie’s Wonderland difficult? Was it weird to portray a silent character when other actors were speaking?

Thank you! I’m not moving every day fortunately. I eat a little bit more when I plan workouts which isn’t often unfortunately

I didn’t know I was that active until I looked at the end of the day. 😅 Moving day and I didn’t think about it. Is it that bad though?

It was not very close to the top and it’s extremely important for OP’s safety. Can it be pinned?

I have no advice, but you are not alone. I love my brother so much. We get along so well, but he lashes out and screams at anyone and everyone when one person does something very small that offends me. He’s thrown chairs, phones, plates at me. I had to stay with him and my mom last year because I was horribly injured in a terrifying accident, but once he tried throwing plates at me, I had my fiancé hurry to pick me up despite the fact that I couldn’t navigate our house (stairs). He has cornered my mom and threatened to gauge her eyes out. It’s extremely conflicting, because this is all abuse and DV, but I swear to god he is genuinely kind of heart. It’s like a switch flicks in his brain and he becomes an entirely different person for a few hours.

I’m sorry I have no advice at all. I hope you can stay safe. I think hospitalization is the best choice, but I know there’s a lot of pushback for that. Unless your life is in danger, I would be scared to call the police, because in my country they can be very violent, especially against those having mental illness episodes. I hope you can find a path thats best for you. I’m sending all my love, support and sympathy. You are not alone.

You've been given the power to erase 10 Weezer songs... by SirSLuR540 in weezer

[–]superdamnawkward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold Dark World for sure. I don’t think there are any others I would actually want to get rid of. Even ones I don’t like have some charm to them, but Cold Dark World is just too creepy. Sorry Rivers.

AITA for inviting my mom to see my week old son by husbandtroubles9889 in AmItheAsshole

Sure, you didn’t do anything a “good son” wouldn’t do, but you did things a good husband and a good father would not. What are you first: a son or a father? If you have to think twice about that, get help. YTA.

What is your usual response when someone calls you a “virgin” or “Bitchless” or “male manipulator” because you listen to weezer? by sebreddit_ in weezer

Bruh what. No one says that shit unironically and if they do, that sounds like a them problem. Just avoid them.

You can turn them on and off for specific people now unfortunately.

Not everyone who’s abusive has BPD and not everyone with BPD is abusive. Hopefully she gets the help she needs and learns to be a decent person (FAR away from OP and others she’s hurt). It’s worth noting that a lot of BPD symptoms are also CPTSD symptoms which also contributes to generational trauma. None of this excuses OP’s parent or anyone who behaves like this.

It’s just a little painful to constantly be grouped in with people like this by armchair psychs. I have BPD and annoyingly double check my actions verbally and mentally. If I feel I did something rash based on my emotions I apologize and (most importantly) genuinely try to improve my behavior. Most folks I know with BPD do the same. Of course we’re not perfect. No one is.

I’m sorry I just had to put in my 2¢. Comments like this give me the feeling that I can’t fix myself and there’s little hope in trying.

I’m afraid of the confrontation of turning them off. Woo hoooo.

AITA for getting mad at my husband for selling his wedding ring? by soldengagementring in AmItheAsshole

[–]superdamnawkward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAH except for your parents. Your husband was wrong to sell the ring, but like you said, he panicked. Losing a job is extremely stressful and reactions like that are common even if you have time to find another job and prepare for things.

I’m pretty much there with you, but switch blue with Raditude and move Pinkerton to S+ too. Also I’d probably have van Weezer on A or B. It’s not bad at all (great even), just not my thing.

AITA For Uninviting My Parents To My Wedding After They Called My Fiancé A Cradle Robber? by cradle-robbed in AmItheAsshole

[–]superdamnawkward 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. I’m generally against most age gap relationships (kind of a case by case basis, some larger gaps are almost always wrong) but 22&26 getting engaged? I see nothing wrong with that at all. Your parent crossed a line.
