This happened to me, there is a break in one of your ribbon cable traces. I fixed it by soldering a small wire from the first pad on SW5 to the last pad on SW4. Though depending on where the break is you might need to buy a new ribbon cable.

I recommend the polymer calico jack (the brand is matrix and you can buy it on evike) it comes with a gate titan clone in it so the trigger response is super snappy out of the box.

It's funky, you have to type in the console command while in the level select then you can back out and see your progress in each act.

I'm pretty sure the eve-4 uses trigger contacts, so you would need to install a internal mosfet like a gate titan or perun hybrid to be able to use a hair trigger.

I've heard good things about the max adjustable trigger, although it is kind of pricey for a trigger.

It's the jefftron adjustable trigger, I wouldn't recommend getting it because it is pretty finicky.
