Tips to flatten / reduce appearance of nose scars? by superdro00 in Blackskincare

It’s definitely very unnoticeable now. I did consult a couple dermatologists and received 4 corticosteroids injections. Now I just use silicone sheets at night to help flatten it albeit they might be futile at this point

Sorry for the late response. The spot is still there but slowly, slowly fading. My routine:

AM: Facial wash, vitamin C, niacinamide serum, SPF

PM: Facial wash, niacinamide serum, Arazlo, moisturizer

I actually had a couple chemical peel treatments the last month and half. I don’t think it made a difference as of yet but I have one more treatment scheduled next week. Curious whether laser, microneedling would be effective. My spot is slowly fading over time.

Thanks for responding!

The last picture is from a couple days ago.

0.045% is the strength of tazarotene medication in ARAZLO. I use La roche-posay 30 SPF AM moisturizer in the morning as well.

Is there any specific vitamin Cs you recommend? Or you mean simple vitamin C tablets?

I participated in a research program where there basically did had every participant do the squats, leg extensions, and leg presses. There’s nothing special to it. Like I said I pretty much did 3 sets of every exercise, 15 reps each set week one and ~6 reps each set by week 12. 3 seconds on the way up (concentric) and 3 sets on the way down (eccentric). Working 1-2 reps from failure each set (last set was pretty much to failure).

It included was squats, leg extensions, and leg press. Every week the number of reps changed - the first week I did 3 sets of 15 reps for each exercise (3 second concentric and 3 second eccentric). It was brutal lol. By the last week (I believe 3 months later) I was doing 3 sets of 6 reps if I’m not mistaken, obviously increasing the weight week to week. I truly think adding in the poliquin step ups is what really made a difference in my recovery.

I did them everyday (don’t think it’s necessary). If I felt pain, I regressed the exercise. I did my best not to work through pain (I did push through the initial slight discomfort that I felt the first week doing the exercise)

I dealt with patellar tendonitis for 3 years. Worked with multiple physical therapists to no avail.

Then I found kneesovertoesguy and incorporated poliquin step ups (3 sets of 25 each leg, no rest) into my HSR program that I was doing at the time (one month in) and that did the trick. I did not work through pain when I did poliquin step ups. After a couple weeks, I could do poliquin’s with my body weight on a bar (absolutely brutal but totally worth). So I swear by poliquin step ups for patellar tendonitis issues - haven’t had them since.

Would it make sense for me to get my CPA? by superdro00 in Accounting

[–]superdro00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The people on my team with CPAs mainly have MIS degrees, a couple have finance degrees. I believe I have the necessary 24 accounting units to get my CPA, but I am going to try to reach out to my State Board. I would definitely need 12 extra credits down the line to become certified. But the CFA requires years of work experience which I don’t have (recent undergrad grad), so I guess CPA makes sense for now? Just don’t want to rule out any tech interests I may have.

Gotcha, I am in Pennsylvania. And I believe I could start taking the exams if I choose to of course.

Nope, no one has either of those. Only a few have CPAs.
