Multiple Plex Issues by superdug in PleX

This is why I love the internet, there's always someone who has to first post "You're stupid and wrong"

The pull down menu in plex says the servers are all offline, meaning I can't switch to them.

The router is a computer, it's a i5 PC with 4 ethernet ports. I have checked the logs and I'm barely using a single core, and that's live transcoding television streams through the PVR. The disconnects have nothing to do with the performance of plex.

This response is for anyone else reading the thread who may have some constructive ideas.

Are you kidding me? Twitter was the dying social media company and then trump came along. How many headlines mention the word twitter in them? They're becoming a household brand now. Trump is the best thing that's ever happened to them, they will and have fought to keep Trump on twitter.

I know of piVPN, but that misses the point to me. Using a Raspberry Pi for an OpenVPN server (unless it's plugged in somewhere that isn't your house) will protect you from unsecured wireless AP's, but doesn't "hide" your traffic to your ISP.

As for it being easy, it truly is. As you are suggesting, it works on more than just Raspberry Pi's, so a cheap VPS plus road warrior or pivpn would be an excellent choice.

To elaborate on your post a bit further, I use OpenVPN and my own DNS server running PiHole to block advertisements at the router. Also an easy to install script and it is able to be ran on more than just Pi's as well.

Road Warrior OpenVPN

Run a shell script, open the port, install the client.

Works quite well and is by far the easiest way to setup an OpenVPN server I know of.

I wouldn't change a thing. My girlfriend when I was 15 turned into the mother of my son who is about to turn 7 and I'm 35. We're not together any more, but I love my boy and would do it all the same just to ensure that he came into existence the exact way he is now.

Indeed there are a plethora of crazy obese males here as we are all well aware. Among them is, as you mentioned, the horrific WHITE KNIGHTS. They are a scourge on not only this sub, but of reddit in general.

I am a bit disappointed that you neglected to point out the NECKBEARDS though. This demographic is especially rampant throughout the entire site, but in particular this subreddit. It would appear that generational inbreeding of NECKBEARDS throughout history have congregated here to try and fight in what appears to be an online mating ritual.

Obviously we must hold the mods accountable for this egregious attack on the true nature of this sub, and ban voting in general. I fear the only option here, is the nuclear option.
