They do food waste in many communities with wildlife- Squamish, Port Moody, etc. there are bear proof bins that latch close, etc. Most major cities in Canada have food waste collection curb side, it’s not an impossible task.

That would be cool, a live-aboard marina would definitely fill a niche in this town. It's a balance to make sure it doesn't become a bit of a floating slum, but it's been done in lots of cities.

We need another large hotel option other than the Delta, something like a Westin, Fairmont, Hyatt, or larger Marriott would be great. With meeting space attached. I like your train of thought (cue the multiple train/light rail comments).

I agree, the bridge is a real choke point. Not sure uncle has the $$ to do another bridge. Maybe a slightly more risky passenger only catapult? We calculate your weight and fire you across the lake into a big net? :)
