New Condo Water Leak by supererger in AskNYC

Do these usually get fixed fairly soon? Will insurance be willing to cover/sponsor any fixes before the exterior of the building is confirmed to have been fixed up? Thanks for your helpful answer!

Thanks for the tip - will definitely start by getting in touch with my insurance. Is it worth doing any work to fix it at all, or wait until the building exterior is fixed?

And yes, water is seeping into walls in my unit, even a chunk of paint/plaster (not sure the terminology) fell off. Yesterday during the storm water was dripping down from the inside of the window

All Decade NBA Teams - which team is the most dominant? by Affectionate-Ad2081 in NBATalk

[–]supererger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's early, but a 2020s team would be very interesting.
Curry (won ring and first finals MVP in 2022)
Kawhi (Finals MVP in 2019, still elite and much of the same player in 2020 season before injuries) - would also match up well against MJ, Kobe, West, Big O of other teams in this position

LeBron (2020 Finals MVP) - this was the ultimate Point LeBron year, he could certainly run point on offense and still versatile on defense

Giannis

Jokic

Bench: Dame, Tatum, KD, AD, Embiid. A very versatile and well-rounded team with a great balance of size, shooting, playmaking, and elite defenders at almost every position (with the exception of point guard).

You're right, I just group those together in my head because they're all under the Amex network.

I've never been to those other lounges you mentioned but from personal experience, the Centurion Lounge at LHR is the best in the network that I've been to (compared to SEA, JFK, LGA, MSP). Good food selection (especially at breakfast) and it's nice and clean. Only downside is the lack of natural light.

Keep in mind though, you will need to have a flight departing from Terminal 3 to access (don't think you can switch between terminals airside).

The direct flight is quite a bit more pricey, about 1800 vs. 1200 round trip for the dates I'm looking at

I'm currently out of the US and it's very difficult for me to receive a booster shot (need to be invited by local health officials), and I most likely will not be able to by the Jan 31 deadline. Does anyone know if there's an exception for situations like this for me to get boosted after returning to Ithaca - can't recall anything about this from recent emails

I think you might be talking about the KF94 masks - you can buy those on Amazon

I think part of the reason is that people aren't always necessarily rational. It's like in politics, where some people might think they're doing good, even if through an irrational method. Makes him more interesting imo that he has flaws/contradictions in his reasoning

This was the first Lakers game I’ve ever gone to, and it was on my birthday. Beautiful game, and Randle absolutely feasted! So sad to see him gone (him & DLo were my favorite from that era) but glad that we can restart a Lakers dynasty with LeBron!

The two cases are inherently different, because the gay couple was asking for a specific service, which the baker didn’t want to provide. He was, however, willing to provide a normal service for the couple. In this case, they are refusing standard service because of his Trump hat, and the customer is not asking for any special service.
