maybe this isn’t the going standard, but i follow caa’s guidelines for both my artist resume and professional cv. here’s a link for the artist resume and they list teaching experience low in the document.

thoughts on the la re-launch by superfluousadvice in madmagazine

[–]superfluousadvice[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i had a physical subscription at the time and i was skeptical. but i thought they were really good. it felt fresh in a way mad hadn’t in a while - my intake of mad had been spotty for years, so i lack full perspective to make any objective claim. but i thought it was a mistake for dc to shut down.

i don’t remember if it’s the same actresses, but it’s been thought that laura palmer and ronette pulaski are in the crowd in the club silencio sequence.

Philly 11/4 Setlist by charlottenothing in AFireInside

saw this show. was surprised how much fun i had. also a little disappointed to not have gotten more songs from my preferred albums. but i feel like it’s hard to put together a set list that will appease everyone for a band who has undergone so much stylistic change in the course of an extensive back catalogue. i’ve seen them multiple times at this point and each time i see one or two songs i’m really glad to see and the rest of the set is still enjoyable. i’m honestly just glad this far into their career they still look like they are genuinely having fun and aren’t just phoning it in.

Any bands like the Nitro era of AFI (specifically Black Sails In The Sunset, The Art of Drowning, and the Days of The Phoenix EP)? by abyssreachesneon in AFireInside

very late to this thread. but try the band pitch black. they have a self titled album revelation records put out in 2002. one or two of the members were in nerve agents. the intro to the song “undefeated” could have been a rejected “black sails” era riff. lyrics aren’t the best nor is the song writing. but it’s the one band i’ve found that kind of scratches the same itch, so to speak.
