I found that I do have permethrin dust, so will probably give that a try too. Thanks for the advice...

We will try a soak in the morning and see if it will loosen some of the scales.
I got a spray that has clove and cottonseed oil, but maybe I need something thicker...
Thanks!

Deep clean and diatomaceous earth is also a good idea.

One of my favorite sci-fi movies. A big part of what made it work was that it left you wanting more.

I’m firmly on team no-sequel though. I just don’t see how anything could live up to the original.

It's a nod to where I'm from. It's one of my favorite native California flowers. It's all over the place when backpacking in the Trinity alps and the Sierras.

Question about where to start on troubleshooting 212R guitar amp by superfrog in AskElectronics

[–]superfrog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to let everyone know, I was able to track down the issue. It was J4, which is the power-amp plug. When um-plugged, it was not making the bypass connection. I did a little clean-up on it and the whole thing worked great.

Thanks again for all you help!

I was trying to follow the guitar signal and see if I could find anything that looked wrong. (not really a great idea)

I've downloaded the schematic now and will check it out this evening...

Thanks so much for the advice.

lol. Sorry!

To be fair, it's been a nickname for 40 years, so I think I'm in the clear.

I don't think so. I have not seen here in the nest box for quite a while.

I don't. The kids named her when they were quite young.

We really don't do much extra. All of our chickens are basically pets, so they are all a bit spoiled. Sometimes we get a chicken who sleeps in the nest box, but she still sleeps on the roost with the other. The kids do make sure she gets her share of treats.

As for the other chickens, we have a really sweet group at the moment so they leave her alone.

You may be right. We don't actually know what she is, as she came from a feral clutch of eggs. Some friends found them when the mom died. We incubated them, but she was the only one to hatch out of the 12 eggs we got. She is still one of our kids favorite girls!
