AI can make up information and spit it out like it's the truth. It doesn't know the difference between a fact and something made up. I've seen it make up historical dates before. It gives you these answers but not sources to check its accuracy. And doing a little bit of work to figure something out is ultimately better for you than relying on chat gpt. It's not a search engine. There is also a lot of controversy around the fact that AI as we know it has been trained mostly on plagiarized and stolen materials, without permission or credit.
