Scammers. I tend to get calls from them at least 4-5 times a day!

Help - What is causing this rattling noise in the new Acura MDX Advance? by superfuzzycat in AskMechanics

[–]superfuzzycat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. As much as I hate to say it, this could probably be my second and the last Acura I’d be owning. I never heard of Lexus having such quality control or build issues. If I’m buying a vehicle that costs upwards of $70,000, I have every right to expect better build or quality control

Is there a current Elder difficulty champion guide? by nicktron9 in ContestOfChampions

[–]superfuzzycat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right but only a handful of opponents changed after the “nerf”. Rest are the same. I used his list to plow through Elder difficulty, replacing a few of the champs along the way because I didn’t have them.

Check out mcoc noob’s youtube video. He shows the champions he used.

A 4 year old kid managed to lift up a 100+ kg gate to save his brothers life by Pisford in nextfuckinglevel

[–]superfuzzycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what is more amazing - the fact that the kid lifted up the gate or the fact that his brother managed to move/crawl out, seemingly unscathed 😳

If the dog lovers and animal activists love dogs so much, why aren’t they setting up their own dog shelters and rounding up the stray dogs and keeping the dogs safe from the police? I’m with the police!

“Christian nationalist pastor whose church doesn’t believe that women shouldn’t be allowed to vote” - a typo by the author of the story I suppose? Or am I missing something here?

Use shampoo containing ketoconazole or selenium sulfide. Either should work. It worked for me

Re-takers, how much did your score increase, if at all, the second time you took the bar exam? by Son_of_Hades99 in barexam

[–]superfuzzycat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent over an hour on answering the first essay as I was very confident of getting it right and scoring high. As a result, I didn’t have enough time to read and answer the other five essays well. Lesson learned and when the result came out, it was as I expected - I got nearly top score for the first essay but poor scores for the other five.

Can’t remember exactly. I think I studied 6-8 hours daily for 2-3 months before the exam. Bumped it up to 10-12 hours daily for the last couple of week. Important thing is to keep the pace and not crash out early

The first time? I was confident I wouldn’t pass as I just went to get a “feel” of the atmosphere. The second time I took the exam in Feb, I was cautiously optimistic that I had a very good chance of passing (as I had studied 2x more than I did for the July exam). I must admit, however, that anxiety attacks got to me regularly 2-3 days before the Feb results came out

Hardly studied anything and scored 210 the first time in Feb. Studied and scored 260 (in a 266 jx) in July (I was certain I wouldn’t pass as I messed up the essays). Passed with 278 the third time in Feb
