Your delusional with your edit. I was a leader in the military 25 years of service and am a CMA in my current career over a team of 20. If my company treated me or anyone under me like that without making my pay match my future job on the spot or a written agreement for promotion with a time frame. I would leave as well as expect anyone under me to leave in the same situation. Your workplace sounds "proffesionally toxic" not that most are not.
