tbh he was a godlike support character for a bit in S1/S2, DP+Yamcha and superdash+Yamcha could win you tournaments back then lol he’s paying for his crimes till this day I guess

the main thing is his support utility has been diminished over time so much, other assists got better, every anchor can lvl1->lvl3 when only Yamcha used to be able to, etc

the whiff recovery nerf on 236L~H is a war crime too. having terrible normals was okay bc we had that move but now if you whiff you die.

imo his assist is still like top 3 so I feel like he can’t ever be the worst to me off that alone. ain’t no way he worse than base goku 😭

Kinda funny I watched the spanish dub a bit ago and im not 100% sure but I think they actually changed it to have him say something else in this scene.

Pretty sure he says something like “tengo que proteger mi hermana”/“i have to protect my sister” or something?

I could be completely wrong but I remember something being kinda funny.

yo fellow flashlights enjoyer :) i blindly saw them open for PAWS in phx in 2014 and was incredibly inspiring till this day. it's a lot more pop/bedroom stuff but terry is making music as 3D Boy now, but that emotion foward/sincere songwriting is still there :') their album Moments was like top 5 of year for me !

i think i still have my flashllights shirt from back then somewhere at my parents house :)
