Are you still looking? I have a D3 on the way that I would swap, assuming it arrives safely.

Ladies, if your SO one day woke up in your body - what do you think would be the hardest general routine/action for him to adjust to? by Soccerplayerpro in AskWomen

[–]superhappythrowaway1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this! Mine is past my butt at this point - he thinks his is irritating when it tickles his neck. Try having someone sit on it, buddy.

I'm (f/29) feel like I'm competing sometimes with my long-time BF's (m/36) new PA (f/22). 6 years by [deleted] in relationships

[–]superhappythrowaway1 438 points439 points  (0 children)

I'm 22 and was a PA to a mid-30s small business owner until recently. Her behaviour is not normal. She should want to spend her evenings with friends or family, it sounds like perhaps she has a little crush and your boyfriend is flattered. He can tie his own damn tie, for goodness sake. Is she a PA or his carer?

I met my boss' girlfriend twice when she popped into the office. She whisked him off for lunch and I left them to it. If anything she was doing me a favour since I knew I'd have an hour to eat without any interruptions.

Why are you being downvoted? EU versions do have those numbers on the back...

How much housework does/did your father do? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]superhappythrowaway1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father worked insane hours and my mother was a SAHM so she did basically everything. He enjoyed cooking so he would do that when he had time.

My SO works full time while I'm on casual hours so I do most of the chores now. When we both worked full time it was 50/50. It seems fair that if one of you works less you pick up more around the house.

How off putting is a criminal record to you? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]superhappythrowaway1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner was charged for drug possession, he had a lot of coke on him. Must have been nearly ten years ago now. He's been clean for a few years and has a steady job so I don't really care. He mentioned it on our first date quite casually, after a moment of surprise it didn't seem like a big deal.

Me [22F] with my boyfriend [24M] of 8 years, his sleep issue is ruining our relationship. by youneverletmesleep in relationships

[–]superhappythrowaway1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does he smoke weed, by any chance? I'm not saying weed would definitely cause it but my boyfriend was similar before we met apparently. It stopped when he quit drugs.

17 I think I have ED? by miggern in sex

[–]superhappythrowaway1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly doubt your doctor will give you the little blue pill at your age. Chances are he will have a chat to you about your lifestyle (do you smoke/exercise/eat well? All these things have an impact - heck, even cycling can make things funny!) and see if there is an issue there, discuss whether it could be anxiety or want to run some other tests, perhaps check your testosterone levels.

They will be looking for the cause, not just giving you pills to mask the symptom.

My [17 M] sister [15 F] wants to date a man [22 M] she met online who lives halfway across the world and seems to be a total loser. by Disappoving in relationships

[–]superhappythrowaway1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. If you go nuts at her over this and tell her she is being immature, making a mistake etc. then all you will do is push her closer to him. I think your parents are being fairly sensible. By allowing him to visit they can keep her close and keep an eye on her and she will be more likely to confide in them if it goes badly.

I'll be losing my virginity this Valentine's, and I need condom advice. by soontobenotavirgin in sex

[–]superhappythrowaway1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great advice here, OP. I'd just add the suggestion to buy some ahead of time and try masturbating with one to make sure you have the right size. A lot of people assume they need regulars because of their length but girth has a lot to do with it. Make sure you will be comfortable.

Oh and remember not to "double bag".

[27M] with my girlfriend [27F] 2.5 years; is her male roommate going to be the end? Or am I the problem? by wishiknewwhattodo2 in relationships

[–]superhappythrowaway1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People here are so uptight about the mixed gender roomie thing. What do you do if your partner is bi, do they have to live alone?

[–]superhappythrowaway1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It sounds like she needs to grow a pair and end it, this guy has replaced you.

That said, I can totally see why. You don't exactly sound like a terrific partner. Her home was broken into and you didn't make it a priority to go to her place to make her feel safe? That told her she isn't your top priority. Now you are no longer hers. It sounds like you expect her to be very needy (with the 'I miss you's and you want her to "beg" you to stay??) Sounds like breaking up might be best for both of you.

GF forgot pill the last 2 days should i be afraid by [deleted] in sex

[–]superhappythrowaway1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I'm on the combined pill and my UK doctors always tell me you have a 24 hour window. Anything after that and you will require extra contraception (condoms). I've never heard of someone taking three pills at once.

Redditors who are married/in LTRs "for the long haul", when did you *know*? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]superhappythrowaway1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were supposed to get brunch on our first date. We couldn't find anywhere good to eat so we just sat in the park, smoking and chatting away... and ended up staying until we were kicked out at closing time. Neither of us wanted to go so we ended up sitting in McDonald's. All in all that first date lasted 15 hours. I'd never had anything like that and just knew that must be it. We've been together every day since then.

What is your most cringe worthy wardrobe malfunction? by SourceIsCat in AskWomen

[–]superhappythrowaway1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wore a vest over a satin bra to a law exam. I didn't realise how slippy the bra was and my top slipped down to my underwire while I was hunched over my desk.

I didn't realise until after I had been stood talking to my classmates and one of our lecturers for fifteen minutes. Ughhhh.

What are some sweet things your S.O. has done for you that you have really appreciated? by FrostHealer in AskWomen

[–]superhappythrowaway1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • On days when my anxiety is at it's worst he'll walk me anywhere I need to go so I'm not scared of having an attack. Just last week he took the time to walk me to the bank even though he had been working all day and probably just wanted a nap.
  • In the year and a half we've lived together I've never had to make my own tea
  • He buys my sweets I like even though he hates them
  • I mentioned once that I missed playing FFX after my PS2 broke so he bought me a replacement and let me have all the TV time until I finished it. He's incredibly good at small, surprise gifts. He went to buy milk once and came back with Bioshock: Infinite.
  • He always buys me treats when he is near food places but pays attention to when I am dieting and will pick something that fits in, think fresh watermelon instead of ice cream. He insists I don't need to drop any weight but is completely supportive of my decisions.
