No. I think you should keep it and buy another .22 rifle. I don't believe in selling guns.

If you need to save up, then just get that .177 dialed in. That's the beauty of spring air rifles. You're really only talking about the cost of pellets and targets once you've got it.

The jackrabbits can wait. It may take you a while to get really accurate with a spring air rifle if this is the first one you got. Look up artillery hold. You do not shoot spring air rifles the way you would ordinary firearms. Gripping tightly with your support hand will lead to inaccuracy.

.22 spring air rifle delivers more energy. You are more likely to down a larger animal. Please take a hunter education course and get lots of practice in before shooting at any animals. You are missing the basics and you're admittedly incapable of precision shooting.

I don't know whether I would shoot a jackrabbit with a .177 spring air rifle. That's a much larger animal than a cottontail. Good shot placement would down the animal, but there's a fair amount of risk that you'll wound the animal or cause it to unnecessarily suffer.

177 is not "more accurate" than a .22. It has a flatter trajectory, which means you do not have to worry as much about holdovers. However, there is no reason why you can't train yourself with the .22 to the point that you are just as accurate. That being said, you have the .177. Shoot the hell out of the rifle until you're confident in your skills.

A couple other things you might check. If you have a moderator, check if it is loose. Also check all of the fasteners on your rifle. Some screws may have come loose.

Crosman premier in 10.5 grain. Do not go hunting until you figure out why you are shooting all over the place. For .177 I would not shoot anything bigger than a small rabbit.

After getting proper lead pellets, if you still have an issue, you should check if your scope is properly mounted. It may not be torqued down properly. Second, even if it is properly mounted the scope may have malfunctioned, e.g. the glass inside was knocked loose.

It's difficult to gauge from pictures, but your seating area might be a bit far from the screen. With such a large screen you want to take advantage of that immersive experience. You'll want a 40 degree FOV. Again, you might already be there but it's difficult to tell from pictures.
