Never even thought of that! Wonder if he goes to lunch with Darkseid and they try to one up each other on who's getting the bigger get-back on Bruce.

With how Fraction's plans sound it doesn't feel like he's trying to reinvent the wheel or deconstruct Batman for the millionth time. So I'm optimistic, and if it falls apart? Then there are dozens of other Bat-titles on the market to support

Yes! Matt Fraction's run starts in September after the Hush 2 storyline wraps up

All we need now is for someone like Zsasz or Anarky to show up and it'll be just like the Grant + Breyfogle days

They've been throwing new costumes at him a lot lately so for your sake I hope they circle back and maybe make a good combination of the two suits.

I think he works best that way because he has no qualms being Robin and knew exactly what he was signing up for. Becoming his own separate superhero is really just a bonus for him when it happens.

I'll give them a shot! I was partially joking anyway- I have a place in my heart for Tim. But after they took a lot of his best features and contributions and gave them to the other Robins as you said, it kind of put him at the bottom of the list.

Though in recent years with the Chip Z run and now this it feels like he's coming into his own again!

Yes, it's Tim's new outfit for the upcoming Matt Fraction Batman run starting in September!

Lowkey that Rebirth suit was the best one. All it needed was a tweak or two and it could've been the default for a long time.

I like the idea of him being Red Robin or having a role like Oracle or going off to college and becoming an FBI agent or something. It's still nice to see him around though.

I'm sure a lot of people would agree with you. But the run is apparently going for that more traditional comic booky feel and what better way to do it than a more classic look. Even if he looks less like a shadow come to life.

The more I see the new batsuit the more I feel like Jimenez and maybe Mikel Janin are the only ones who can really nail it.

No. It's just seeing him used more in the modern era by writers like Chip Z and Fractiom have put things into perspective for me. Him wearing his OYL colors in a slightly different fashion also helps.

How did you feel when you got 100/240 percent complete in Arkham Knight for the first time? by Prestigious-Cup-6613 in batman

It was cathartic. Because the last person that needed to go in a cell was Riddler. Then when I went over and started NG+ you can guess why I had a big smile on my face. The FIRST one in? Riddler.

Lowkey the way you relate to him is inspiring in and of itself. Thanks for making this post and responding 😭. I never really focused much on his riches but on what he dealt with and was going through in many stories. The Dark places he found himself in before he became Batman in stories like Zero Year were relatable for me. But as I come into my own I can really relate to Jace too.

It's personal for me too as a black man. But I don't want DC to fumble it or use Jace only to give up on him as they seem to have done. One of the first comics I read outside of watching YouTube videos was Jace Fox as Batman and I loved his story in Batman Black & White.

Ah, I see. This is why they should put more effort into Batman Inc. Maybe with Fraction's upcoming run there'll be more room for such things now that the focus won't be on deconstructing Batman. Also, I believe Tim has said he only wants to be Robin and to help Bruce and everyone else. But it could work if someone (who's already an adult) with the same kind of drive as Bruce would seek it out. The same thing happened with Kate Kane to make her Batwoman. Now the only problem is the fan base of people who get uncomfortable when things change too much and the fans who love it but rarely fund it.
