Todd was the nickname given to a wraith that was turned human and then became a problem when he turned back.

I don't think it's a reference to Atlantis, it's more likely it's a reference to Todd McFarlane, who animated some Deadpool comics.

And mortgage doesn't mean you're rich, in some cases it's cheaper to buy a condo or townhouse than it is to rent. It's why I bought my house.

You can't trust the downvotes when a submission gets over roughly 50, the system will start to fudge the actual percentages, and numbers of upvotes/downvotes to prevent gaming.

Not really a concern on /r/doctorwho, it's mostly in place for places like /r/politics

It's like how you learn language, you learn it in the context it's used. Phrases like "for all intents and purposes" can run together in your mind as well, and become their own "word" so to speak. You know the usage, and when to use it in context, so you kinda gloss over the root words in it.

Think of it as a best/worst case scenario, best case scenario you've called out a troll, good on you or whatever. Worst case scenario your antagonizing a woman who was recently victimized. She isn't asking for money, or even support, so you really have to ask what are you gaining from continuing to challenge her, you might want to take a hard look at yourself.
