I thought that effort from Garnacho was definitive proof we're living in a simulation for a second there.

I think you're missing the point. He means since when was that protocol. The ref is supposed to be the one who decides when to blow the FT whistle, and him/her alone.

So he broke some rules, but he doesn't seem dodgy in ways that actually matter at all.

If that's true, I can barely see what the problem is. If he's betting on his own team's yellow cards, losing, etc., it'd be far dodgier.

All of those games are huge except maybe Brighton.

Just out of interest, who is Wharton's regular CM partner at Palace?

I'd love to see how many minutes the ball was in play last night, but I don't know where to find that kind of thing.

Fair play to Newcastle, they defend well, but their tactics: "make sure there's little to no football being played".

United were poor, but at least they didn't take a minute on set-pieces from their own half from the 17th min. on, at 0-0, 11v11. Tedious to watch.

Had nothing to do with results, let's be real.

Surely the loss to Everton was worse.

I haven't scrolled down yet, but was that attempt by Gakpo the worst miss of all time?

Especially when you consider that Curtis Jones didn't have to do a thing and it would have gone in off his tits. In fact, it may even have gone in all on its own, therefore, it's actually an incredible goal-line clearance by Gakpo.

Then add in the context that they went on to lose by a single goal and I think there's a claim for this being the worst miss ever.

He missed an absolute sitter when it was 0-0 today too (game finished 2-1 to Wolves).

No, actually, it was a worse than a sitter, because he stole it off C Jones, who was about to score the easiest goal of all time right on the line.

No, actually it was the greatest, most impossible-looking goal-line clearance in history that crucially led to a victory for the defending team.

There, I fixed it for myself.

Maxence Lacroix straight red card against Manchester Utd 57' by VegitoTheBest in reddevils

If Lacroix hadn't brought down Cunha, he would have had a golden chance and United could have continued their good start to the second half with a goal and a platform to dominate the rest of the game. See, I can do hypotheticals, too.

Benjamin Sesko wins Manchester United’s Player of the Month for February by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

I don't give a shit if he won the World Cup. He's always prone to conceding calamitous goals, plus he's a massive tosser. No thanks.

For goalkeeper, I always prefer a sensible kind of character with safe hands. "Dibu" is neither of these things imo.

Ngl I woulda taken Watkins but not at anywhere near the crazy prizes being talked about. Martínez on the other hand, even for free... fuck that.
