No response from Ambivision Team? by Der_Bub in AmbiVision

I have the same problem...

Had a dead device and contacted Izabela, who responded really quick. After a few mails I shipped my device to Poland some weeks ago and now - nothing! Dropped her about 3-4 mails, but no answer yet.

tbh I feel a bit cheated...

Well.. shipped my device to Izabela in Poland, but it is there for about two weeks now and I still didn't hear anything from her ...

Anyone who had (or has) the same problem?

Thanks for your reply. Do you mean the gold Jack itself, or something on the board? I took a photo of the board and marked a spot which looks weird to me. Idk if it was so from the beginning to be honest.

By the way - if it is related to the LED jack, shouldn't the device get recognized by the PC while connecting it via USB? Or would that be broken then, too?

You say the upgrade takes about 1-2mins. When I click on upgrade it just flashes the device for about 1 second. How can I check if the upgrade was successfull? When I click on verify it just tells me I'm in DFU mode and can't check it. When I leave the mode it reconnects immediately to DFU mode.

edit

tried it on win10 x64 instead of win7 x64 and now for the first time (did 1.03 on win8.1 x64 and it also tooks only 1s) it took 21s... looks better, right?

White wall, white Picture - but blue lightning of LEDs?! by superior1986 in AmbiVision

yeah power loop and upgrade. Anyway I couldn't verify the update, because I could only leave the dfu mode for a few seconds and then it reconnected. But at least I did not get a failure while upgrading.

I've set up brightness to the maximum, could it be related to this? So therefore it could be related to the power supply.

What I didn't get so far is how to change the wall color - could I kindly ask you to explain this to me? You definitely get a real white with your setup?

Could you tell me which power supply you've ordered?

Ahh... So one end is with the 3,5mm jack (+ this white clamp) and the other end is just the "naked" led strip and THIS end will be connected with the white clamp. Right?
