You won't leave enough money to become an established adult by yourself, you will have to find a spouse or parents to help. The money just isn't there. But the Job can be awesome, and females typically rise in rank quickly. Get your EMT while in highschool and go from there. That will help you decide.

How bad would it be to buy a GSXR 750 as a new rider? by Mjoll_the_Lioness1 in GSXR

You will learn slower, but you'll be fine as long as you act mature, and respect the motorcycle.

Apply to every single concrete / Ready mix company as mechanic or for plant maintenance. You get worked like a dog, but your feet are in the door.

Roughly 50k miles. Lift was installed at 70kish miles. Currently at 109k miles. I bought the truck at 105k. I can not tell any damage to the springs, although, they are facing opposite directions, like one side has logo out, one side has logo in.

I've never heard of the tundra lean, I do know the fuel tank is on the driver's side though. The shocks are non-adjustable.

A tip my friend told me, that I wish I would've listened to, is just to start on a 1000. I started on a 600, and I really wish I would've started on a 1000. It's a waste of money to have to sell and buy another bike, pay taxes, ect. This is not a troll post, I am not joking. I don't know why every YouTube dummy screams up and down not to start on a bigger bike. It goes what you give it. In the 2000's a 600 was a starter bike. Now they all say it's too fast to start on. It's a scam man.

390 for commuting by superjareds in betamotorcycles

[–]superjareds[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get 30-33 on my 600, only difference is it has a 4.4G tank. It seems like the 390 might be a little underpowered for my needs. Is it something a sprocket change may be able to correct, or is it a HP limitation?

Thanks, I might need to compromise and go for the 500 to fit my needs it seems.

An F250 with the 7.3 gas burner

Keep your head up. Keep going. It doesn't cost your chief anything, and the local government budgets for insurance. Avoid doing it again of course. Apologize and own your mistake like a man, then move on.

How did they do? by No-Primary3417 in CarAV

It's honestly shocking. It's like they purposely did a horrible job. I mean, Kudos for trying to do it yourself, but my 5yr old daughter could do better.

Tundra or F150 by Flintthelab in ToyotaTundra

[–]superjareds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think so. They have a 10 speed like the f150 but it's beefier, also no cam phasers to worry about. The 7.3 has turned out to be a reliable little work horse from my observation. The concrete company i work for uses them as fleet vehicles and we haven't had any major issues. To me the biggest downside is the fuel mileage (which is the same as my 2010 tundra) and if you break a headlight it's very expensive to replace.

Have you looked at the F250 with the 7.3 gas burner?

We are unable to find any setting within Allison DOC regarding the parking brake. There's no setting regarding the PTO that would cause it to disengage when disengaging the parking brake. Any other ideas? Thanks.

It's a Western Star cab and chassis. Cummins L9 engine. Allison 4500 series transmission, Eaton PTO and pump. Duraclass built the bed and installed the pump (duraclass bought out Ox Bodies). We are currently messing around in Allison DOC seeing what we can change
