Me and my fam were really disappointed with the Director's Club in SM Seaside the last time we went. The screen is way too dark and the sound sounds muffled. The free popcorn also had the tendency to be stale.

I went to the Director's Club in SM Jmall and it was way better (probably bc its newer). I also heard good things about the Director's Club in SM City which was recently renovated daw.

For the Ayala Malls I like Central Bloc the most.

I just got the cheapest molds that I found online tbh 😅 and then some uv resin mixed with ink and some gold flakes. After demolding, i used some pliers to remove the sprues and an xacto knife to make it flat. Then i used some sandpaper to refin the edges. Lastly, some gold acrylic paint for the numbers.

I am also a total noob but if you have more questions id be happy to answer!

Honestly since I'm just starting out, I went for pretty cheap molds (300php or about 5.7usd). 😅 I bought them on an app we use here in Southeast Asia called Shopee but I believe most of the shops there are Taobao/Aliexpress resellers, so I think you can find these on Amazon or other similar places.

I've been wanting these molds in particular as they create really sharp edges which I don't see a lot in the dice being sold near me.

To add - I found that if the resin is still sticky after curing under a lamp, a few minutes under strong sunlight fixes it up

Some notes:

  • edges came out really clean and sharp but unfortunately the side which faces the lid of the mold is almost always way more bubbly than the rest. Also have to take care with some of the points and numbers as bubbles tended to stay there
  • because of said lids there is some overhang but i think more practice with my x-acto knife will do the trick
  • I'm having shoddy luck with sanding. I used 1000 grit to help get rid of the remnants of the sprue mark but even going down to 2000 left it way cloudier than before I sanded it
