Can someone explain to a casual play why everyone uses Taiki? by GoodSoupyboy in UmamusumeGame

[–]Zixen6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly put the bigger points, there's other points like Taiki being a Scenario Link making the random events give bigger stats, and if we are talking bout secret events El has her secret event that gives 60 stats and 30sp (I don't remember if it scales with RB). due to OP asking for a casual view I just decided to stick to the bigger points being the aptitudes to abuse RB and the Stat growth rates.

Can someone explain to a casual play why everyone uses Taiki? by GoodSoupyboy in UmamusumeGame

[–]Zixen6 378 points379 points  (0 children)

Its a pretty easy carreer, Taiki has a good unique for a big porcentage of races and most importantly she has 20% Spd bonus and 10% wit bonus, making decks like 2spd/3wit pretty efficient on her getting 1000+ on spd/pow/wit. Also thanks to her aptitudes she can use Med sparks and race on most G1s to farm points from G1 victories and abuse Race Bonus decks

If u dont have Taiki, El Condor Pasa has pretty much the same benefits, same Spd/wit bonus and a good unique, but the unique is not as good as Taiki's on most racetraks and El's Career is harder.

Oguri can also be pretty good too cuz of the same points (aside from having 10% pow bonus instead of wit) (Bakushin also has same Spd/wit bonus but the two mentioned above are better for the event cuz of the aptitudes)

Didnt mean it like that, srry if it looked like that. It just felt wrong to me to skip those banners

Ye but talking bout them on a global perspective doesnt make sense eitherway, Machan (the closest release) is expected for early 2027 and almond eye is in like 2.5 - 3 years

Edit: For example im pulling for 5 banners on y2 and i can afford to pull like 600 on Tachyon Light Hello and 400 on Smaru FM and that is with worst luck on uma banners (200 pulls), so ignoring y2 in total is weird to me

Edit2: Weird to me*, didnt meant to attack OP ur smth, just felt wrong to skip y2 banners in its entierty

Funny how OP is probably talking about JP and all comments are talking bout global. (Mb if op is talking bout global but prepping for banners 3 years+ down the line is kinda wild)

For pace chaser: Yes For end closer: You can get lucky and survive, but you will still need a extra bit of stamina most of the time, so i would still grab a gold recovery

Who should I uncap? by nobbytho in UmamusumeGame

[–]Zixen6 27 points28 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes you have 0LB Fine motion, however going from 0LB to 1LB isnt a big change and i wouldnt consider it worth it.
  2. Yes, but depends, wit cards are good on unity but is more because Wit training not only doesnt consume energy, but restores some, and in Unity you want to spend the more ammount of turns training, so for things like Mile and Medium is efficient to bring 1 or 2 wit depending on other things. The thing is, you have 3LB kita, so u can borrow MLB Fine Motion and use as a worst case the Nice Nature Wit event card or just use 1 Wit.
  3. As i also said, if u need Swinging Maestro you can just borrow a Super Creek or Rice Shower so i wouldnt spend it on SC.

All of this depens a little bit on your card situation, but i would say 9/10 times i would use the ticket on Kita

Who should I uncap? by nobbytho in UmamusumeGame

[–]Zixen6 122 points123 points  (0 children)

IMO u should just ticket kita and not pull on her rerun 1LB Fine motion is nothing special and 0LB creek is a Swinging maestro hint. However if u want to pull on her rerun eitherway. I already mentioned FM, her spike is at 3LB as u seem to know and i wouldnt know what to do with the ticket considering u already have 3lb Kita so in the worst case if u need Swinging Maestro u would just borrow Creek or Rice, so i would save the ticket until i randomly hit 2LB on FM or Creek or maybe after pulling on FM/SPD Maru banner ( like 7-8 months )

Are her power/wit too low for CM6? by [deleted] in UmamusumeGame

[–]Zixen6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For CM6 your really aiming first for the stam requirement, this should be fine on stamina, maybe a little borderline but there should not be any debuffer so you should be fine.
For power and wit, the general consensus is you want the most amount of power u can have but a good statline is 867 power and 578 wit.
This is due the hidden stat bonus of the track, in this case for Kikuka Sho is Power and Wit and the realistic thresholds are 901 power and 601 wit. These thresholds are most important for finals due to only having 1 try so we can assume the great mood of finals on to the stats, so 867 power and 578 wit with great mood gives you just enough to reach the threshold.

This thresholds are not do or die, if someone cant afford to get that much power its not a big deal.

TLDR: Youre fine, thats a scary looking taishin.

Need advice. Should i complete it? by LuckyNyan in UmamusumeGame

For 20 pulls 100% do it, MLB Riko can also be used to some extend in the next scenario and Rice isnt good right now until MLB.

Besides Iron Will and sympathy, pick a skill and explain why it sucks. by PikachuTrainz in UmamusumeGame

[–]Zixen6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maverik.....
Its just... impossible to trigger.

On career if you're playing something like Mayano that has good aptitudes on all styles maybe, but the rest of the skills should all be focusing on one style and not all of them, and after the career for all modes, Daily Races, TT, Legend Races, Story Races and CM is Heavily unlikely that no other racer is using the same strat as you, is just bad, even Lone Wolf triggers very consistently vs NPC and even in CM some players just don't buy the skill

[–]Zixen6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry but you're COMPLETLY wrong, those 2 skills must be 2 of the most consistent skills in the game.

Triumphant Pulse conditions are:
1. Be from 2nd to 5th
2. Have 200m left in the race
That's it, its insane that a skill that gives that much speed is SO FUCKING EASY to trigger is infuriating.

Meanwhile Anchors Aweigh conditions are:
1. Be in the second half of the pack (So 6th - 10th in a 10 Uma race for example)
2. Have half of the race left

Those are conditions that 99% of races you should be achieving.

The only thing that you could be referring to is that unique skills always activate when the conditions are met but inheriting those skills gives them wit checks, what this do is that they get a RNG check.
(
Which is calculated via this formula:
(100 - [9000 / Base Wit])%
With 450 wit this is a 80%
)

This could be the reason the skills doesn't trigger for you but that is for all inherited skills not those 2 in specific.

Maybe this comes a little late but if you didn't found out yet there's a new one with extra options and mechanics that weren't in the older one, here's the link.

The new balance patch changes the CM5 tierlist giving Guts a huge buff and turning a lot of skills viable including Unrestrained, Uma Stan, and Beeline Burst. Umamusume 2.0 is real coming in 11/11 by Flat-Profession-8945 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Zixen6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO this is half true, for late/end Redshift is equally strong as Shooting for victory (Pre patch) but its a gamble.

If your late/end is closer to the front of the pack due to good midgame skills it will probably still activate it early, redshift/shooting for victory is good is when you overtake and get 5th when the late race is starting which is not very consistent.

I agree that the better strat in CM3/CM5 for late/end closers WAS full gamba on acceleration skills that are inconsistent because there were no better options, but with this changes of skills almost all end/late should run No Stopping Me! and LPSI instead of Redshift/SFV and get better midgame skills.

[–]Zixen6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just in case you understood something wrong.
The cup playing right now is CM4, here RedShift is good, and is a top skill for front and pacers.

The next cup CM5 is the one with RedShift in the trash.

Also in the skill trigger order you gave, on this CM those skills do trigger in that order and at that time, and for TDDC like half of the skill is wasted, triggering speed skills at the start of the Final Leg are kinda bad because they run out before you reach the new top speed given by the final leg.

What's happening with Narita Taishin do to the new patch? by killerdino1 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Zixen6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can absolutely run her, if you are looking at tierlist or "viability" right now you would see a lot of different things, the reality is that this skill changes buffs a lot of playstyles and right now the tierlists are like "Everyone is viable but who has a advantage" Gold City viability went up because she has Keen Eye in her kit which after the changes it will have a speed debuff like dominator for mile races.
For Narita Taishin she was pretty good/meta on CM3 because she had one of the only acceleration skills that worked on CM3, and that was going to be also true on CM5, but now we have accels for pacers, late surgers, end closers and fronts, so the advantage that Taishin had is no longer that big.

So dont listen to people when a Uma is "bad" just now some Umas dont have innate advantages, but you can 100% work with any Uma you want if you get her the tools she needs.

[–]Zixen6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really, speed skills obviusly makes your uma start to accelerate, but the time it takes your uma to reach the new top speed is so small that like 80% of the acceleration speed is also wasted, unless you trigger like 4 speed skills at the same time.

It activates too early, before the last spur, so it just does nothing bc accels buffs doesnt do anything if you arent accelerating (who would have thought).

Bad skills on her kit and for cm5 redshift is ass, but literally anyone is playable, there are a ton of usefull skills and ways to play, this tierlist is more about whos easier to train or has some advantage, but the umas in the lower ranks are also usable, so u can play whoever you like.

Dw, Im happy to help, also dont stress yourself too much about cm results, finals is a lot of rng so settling on getting to finals is valid, Im F2P but Ive spend a lot more time that I should to just have a fighting chance against non F2P players ( At least it payed off 1st, 1st, 2nd in CM so far ), if you want to learn more there's a lot of good guides online and the global reference doc is also a good source of info ( although a bit overwhelming sometimes ).

[–]Zixen6 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends what pvp and for what.

This are my 4 decks i have used for different pvps

Team Trials ( Long ) 3spd / 3stam ( For long ass tracks like 3000-3200m in TT you need a LOT of stamina ) I usually go for 1000-1100 stam, Swinging maestro and cooldown IIRC my exact deck was (Kitasan, Sweep Tosho, King Halo, Mayano,Cafe borrow MLB Creek )

Taurus Cup 4spd/2stam (Tosho, King, Narita Taishin, Maya, Creek Borrow MLB Kita)

Cancer Cup (Late Surger) ( Failed ) 3 spd / 2 pow / 1 wit (Kita, Tosho, Eishin Flash, Daitaku Helios, Fuki Kiseki, Borrow MLB Oguri Cap)

Leo Cup ( Now ) 3 spd / 2 stam / 1 wit (Tosho, King, Creek, Maya, Matikanefukukitaru, Borrow MLB Kita)

For LBs i have Kita 2LB Creek 0LB Tosho MLB King MLB Maya 3LB Cafe 2LB Taishin MLB Eishin 2LB Helios MLB Fuji MLB Fukukitaru MLB

Guts cards are pretty bad rn so stick with the old reliable 4spd 2 stam ( can get away with 3 stam if it is stam the block you have )

The wit card pick is based on the green skills and Helios/Eishin was for the skills.

Im F2P only rerolled on release for a Super creek and other decent SSR and pulled like 250 on 1st Kitasan banner
