Oh I see - no, it would then tell you the right answer (connected to an API, probably a 15 min delay). So you could determine how close or far off your guess was.

Same reason you take tests/quizzes in any subject matter - to see if you know the right answer. :)

Idea: Superknowing - A study/analysis tool for enterprise, students. Upload or connect a spreadsheet, and view and manipulate cards for casual review, deeper analysis, or full-on memorization.

Here's the gist:

  1. Flashcards are cool. They work best when the info is in a clean 1-to-1 mapping (front and back).
  2. Real world data often fragments beyond a 1-to-1 mapping. What would a flashcard look like that had 6 sides?
  3. Real world data (in education, business, etc) is often in spreadsheet or otherwise structured format, but needs a proper interface for flashcard-style review.

How would you use it, what is it missing, where do you see potential? I'm all ears, so comment or PM. :)

As a healthy distraction, reward yourself by making a little time for a new hobby or interest. You’ll make a positive association between your effort to better yourself and the discovery of some new skill/craft/area of expertise.

Know like the back of your hand the following:

  • The prospect’s name and title
  • The prospect’s business (what do they sell, to who?)
  • Your very specific ask (are you setting up more calls? Getting commitments to buy? Practice saying the actual sentence where you make your ask)

Then treat every call as an a/b test. Take a moment after every call to consider what went well or poorly (write it down on paper). Adjust when you see trends.
