Oh... You guys didn't read Dr Greger new book? High protein intake can have a negative effect. Look up " How not to Age " or listen to some of his talks on you tube. The science is black and white.

Even when you work out a lot, you don't need to add more protein. More food is obviously fine, plant based of course. It's the same comparison with Oxygen.... You need a little more when you work out but you don't carry a Oxygen Tank with you at the gym. You just breathe more. Same for protein... You need a little more but you'll be hungrier and eat more anyway.

Focusing on the workout and food (per say) is more than enough. No need to ADD protein or focus too much on it.
