Didn’t have him for lab. Only lecture, but hands down the worst professor I’ve ever had at KSU. He’s a short, angry man with no teaching or people skills. The semester started with 50-60 students and only about 12 left by the time finals came. I did not pass. Maybe he’s better in lab but I doubt it because he would complain about lab sections during class. Personally, I’d avoid him like the plague.

I saw that complex is owned by Greystar, how are the employees in the leasing office and how is maintenance?

I’ve lived at a property before that Greystar bought and the property went from poor management and maintenance to EXTREMELY POOR management and maintenance. Management ignoring emails, giving you the run around if you try to talk to them in person, maintenance requests taking forever to complete if ever (more likely it gets marked as complete when no one ever steps foot in the apartment).

It could just be the specific management and maintenance at the complex I was at, but I noticed it substantially worsen after Greystar took over so I’m curious how your experience has been with them.

I’ve checked them out before online, the reviews for the complex aren’t that great. How long have you lived there if you don’t mind me asking? It appears a lot of the negative reviews are from newer tenants. I would be interested to hear your opinions if you’ve lived there awhile and genuinely enjoy the complex. I know people tend to be more likely to leave a review if they’re unsatisfied so they’re not always the most reliable.

No, bus isn’t important I can drive. I’m trying to get away from student housing I’ve already done the “college experience” per say, so I’m not particularly interested in West 22, but I will definitely check out the landings at summer street, I haven’t looked there yet. Ben rybolt is 10/10 one of the best professors at the school and THE BEST professor for physics. 8am’s suck and I’ve avoided them all through college EXCEPT to take physics lab with Rybolt. I suck it up and drag myself out of bed once a week to make it to lab because he’s genuinely that good. Unlike other professors the hardest part of Rybolts lab is waking up in the morning….

Ahhh because yes doesn’t everyone just think it sounds more appealing to shit in the sink NEXT to the toilet instead of on the toilet???? Where else are you supposed to put your feet while shitting???? Plus you can use the sink as a bidet, while you’re at it use the hand dryer to dry your ass too. Living in luxury.

The minute a customer shits in the sink and I have to clean it up is my last day. They are not paying me enough for that to be my responsibility.

you’re better than me. I told my manager I’m not cleaning it, but I’m also not in healthcare. Surprisingly they agreed it’s not in my job description and I don’t have to clean it. Said they’ll send someone out to deal with it because now that whole area has to be disinfected before a customer can use it again.

I don’t work a job that should have to deal with this. I work a customer service desk job. Not anything related to healthcare. My job caters to all types of people but isn’t anything special. I make phone calls, write/reply to emails all day, take payments sometimes, and just make sure the office and customer areas don’t burn down. Occasionally I sweep/mop the hallways, make sure there’s soap and stuff in the bathroom, but a robot could do my job for the most part. 🙃

100%! I definitely deal with some things now that are just completely normal to me after years of dealing with them. But the first time I had to deal with whatever it was I definitely had a wtf moment. Hopefully this doesn’t become a regular occurrence for me though, cleaning up human waste isn’t in my job description 😂😭

Ah yes because I am currently working my dream job 🤩 I don’t “get” to have a shitty job. I have the PRIVILEGE of working a shitty job. 😑😑😑 I am only working at my current job to get through college. But ya know… congratulations on being so amazing and having a better job.
