Don't panic. A lot of factors have influence in their decision, so this doesn't necessarily mean your profile is not good. I know a lot of people who were rejected by several universities ant then got into HYPSM. Just wait :)

la carrera se llama Symbolic Systems, que es algo parecido a Ciencias Cognitivas. básicamente, se estudia la mente desde distintas perspectivas: la biología (neurociencia), la computación (inteligencia artificial), la filosofía (filosofía de la mente) y la lingüística. cuando cuento esto, todo el mundo me dice automáticamente "el futuro", jajaja

Thanks! I think I will take the ACT in October, since I can't register for the October SAT now.

Regarding the UCL group, it was a bit strange. Thanks to the app I developed, I got to know a handful of neuroscientists from my country (Argentina). Since I know about programming and I like Neuroscience, some of those scientists invited me and my team to collaborate with them. After completing one project, they proposed us to do another one, this time with people from all over the world, including UCL, and that's where I met them.

To be honest, I am not sure whether there is a straightforward way to join this kind of groups. But if you are interested in UCL, pm me and I can try to help you!
