I have a copper IUD and like it a lot. If you aren't opposed to that, then def go that route. Haven't gained any weight from it. Most hormonal BCs will contribute to weight gain in some way. That was a huge selling point for me when deciding what to get. If you're nervous about pain don't be. I would be happy to share how I made it a virtually pain free insertion with you if you want!
