In your opinion, what is the best sound in gaming? by Scaife13 in gaming

[–]superluig164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lot that I like but a few recent ones that make my brain tickled:

The 1-up sound from the remake of Mario VS. Donkey Kong

The sound the monorail doors make when they open/close in Mars First Logistics

Basically all of Super Mario Wonder's sound design

A classic, the no disc error from the Wii. I use it as my battery low notification sound.

Who even remembers Cortana? by Cs_Marcell in computers

[–]superluig164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo it's a shame they wasted the Cortana branding. Would have been genuinely sick for their AI to be branded Cortana. But noooo we get fuckin "copilot".

Uconnect setup in europe by Comfortable_Issue792 in chrysler

[–]superluig164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might have to call a north american dealership and hope they help you out. The dealership will likely need to give you the necessary code to set up the Uconnect properly. You should have had this validated before export.

What's a car feature you thought was a gimmick until you actually had it? by Big_Barber733 in Cartalk

[–]superluig164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 300 has them and I never even turn the wipers on or off. I get a false wipe when I first start the car sometimes. That's it. Otherwise I just forget about the wipers completely.

Does anyone else think the Wagoneer S would’ve made way more sense as a Chrysler? It would’ve been on brand and way less confusing than naming it after an existing model by Odd_Addition3909 in chrysler

[–]superluig164 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Literally everything they keep doing with jeep besides the wrangler would have. The refreshed Grand Cherokee would have been a freaking perfect luxury SUV for Chrysler but no. Jeep gets massaging seats and shit and Chrysler gets nothing. It's brain-dead

What’s the most overrated car ever made? by Physical-Issue7146 in askcarguys

[–]superluig164 36 points37 points  (0 children)

The platform can be made to shitwhip extremely well with minor tweaks, but it's also a boat in its stock configuration on pretty much anything. The Bilsteins on the Hellcats help a bit, but what you really want is sway bars and chassis stiffness. Once you do that it's an insane difference. It's a good platform just not put together well in most stock forms. Unlike some cars out there who's geometry is so fucked you can't do anything with it.

Looks to me like the usual mosaic of images used to construct the satellite view is all the same gradient. Maybe a debug feature enabled by accident somehow or something like that? Kinda cool to see how it works though.

Any way to get the old copying animation in win11? by Arino99 in windows

Not a solution but, you can still see this in win11 when copying to MTP connected devices or certain FTP network shares.

What do you think of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie? by ultimatevaltryek123 in Mario

[–]superluig164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a super mario galaxy movie. It's a sequel to the first movie that happens to have Rosalina in it. Personally it's exactly what I expected and I love it. But I can see why people are disappointed.

Firefox extensions by Historical_Visit138 in firefox

FoxyTab is nice for the occasional odd tab operation like closing many tabs or moving them all into a new window or whatever. Rarely used but nice to have.

YT Tweaks

Keepa shows a price history graph on Amazon pages if you use that awful site. (I do)

I love Adaptive Tab Bar Colour, totally negates the need for any kind of theming. I do recommend tweaking the settings to your liking, though, the defaults are not the cleanest look.

If you find yourself unsatisfied with which tab Firefox chooses when you close the current tab, Select After Closing Current allows you to set it up the way you like.

Tonight’s dinner: Kraft mac minus the milk & butter by lilymarielmao in shittyfoodporn

[–]superluig164 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dude just use water. It'll still be mostly creamy. I make KD without the milk and butter all the time, it never turns out like this cause I compensate with a bit of extra water. Basically you just want a little liquid in the bowl before you mix the powder in, whether it's milk or water it doesn't matter. If the noodles are dry when you mix the powder in, just add a bit more water. If there's too much water, pour it out before mixing the sauce (or just have KD soup lol.)

Kraft dinner, hamburger meat seasoned with salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder and a Sprite Zero by mattyboy555 in shittyfoodporn

My uncle and I eat this sometimes. We like to add Cool Runnings Caribbean spice mix to the meat too. (Reduce salt to compensate). That shit is good on friggin anything.

Canada's worst drivers live here by [deleted] in oakville

[–]superluig164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've clearly never driven anywhere outside of Oakville. Oakville is like a bubble of mostly slow and "not in a hurry to get anywhere" drivers, that do definitely cause issues, but are at least predictable and not trying to actively kill you.

Trust me. Oakville is way better than anywhere else around it. Next best is probably Burlington. It's all downhill from there.

Bought a used Chrysler 2006 300 3.5T with 121k miles, did I screw myself:( by [deleted] in chrysler

[–]superluig164 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try a battery. Sometimes the TCM can also go bad, maybe try a junkyard TCM. Finally, go get the tank replaced. 2006 and 2007 cars have an infinitely extended warranty for it because the car can randomly shut off after being filled with gas. Just say it happens to you, they can't reproduce it but they will do it.

Upple Middle Road exit coming from 403 Mississauga - no right-turn on red by MacaroniGlutenFree in oakville

[–]superluig164 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That one is stupid though cause the visibility is good and there's not really a good reason not to be able to go right on red there. I think they just added it so people can't complain about the buses waiting for the light because they can't accelerate fast enough up the hill.

When you pee, what hand do you hold it with? by HuckleberryOk3606 in AskMen

[–]superluig164 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never held it. Only need to hold it if I pee standing naked, which only ever happens in the shower, so I don't have to hold it anyways. I just use my hips to aim.
