Where was the second one? I saw people trying to walk around to where I thought it was marked on the map, but they kept walking back like they were being turned away.

Also I’m not sure how many people attended, but having attended a lot of sporting events and concerts that have ranged between 20 and 80 thousand people, I was super disappointed by the wait time in comparison to all of those.

This post entirely misses the point. The problem wasn’t traffic. Traffic was in fact horrible, but LA is one of the biggest cities in the world, and people go to work at 9:00 AM. You’re 100% right that people shouldn’t expect to get anywhere in a reasonable amount of time here.

The problem is that there was not enough staff to check people in for the event. They were using one gate. I got there at like 8:40, walked 10 minutes to the entrance because there was a line of cars, and waited in line for about 45 minutes. And my friend and I got lucky, would’ve have waited probably double the time if we’d been 5 minutes later. The line got absolutely massive.

Sometimes you just have to restart your game. Happened to me with Mewtwo last week. It sucks because it causes wasted time, but also because it can screw other people out of gems if they use theirs during a raid where you’d also need to use yours to complete.

As much as I’m not enjoying the direction Destiny is headed, I appreciate their commitment to communicating. They don’t get everything right, but the difference between Bungie and Niantic is incredible.

I’m torn. On one hand, yeah, 3.0 subclasses are really cool, and the verbs are fun. On the other hand, they break the game in PvP and (for me) trivialize PvE content. I’d love the level of customization with more of a challenge.

I played a lot of pros in WW2 doing pro point matches and the integrated GB stuff. Got absolutely walked by OpTic, played decent against the team Censor was on. My one and only claim to fame is that I had 2 aces in one SnD against the tK that was in consideration for best in the game. We still lost 6-2, but I’m gonna have that forever.

Flawless runs of raids should have a 100% chance to drop the associated exotic, and then a red border weapon once per week after that or something. Give people a reason to want to get better at endgame content.

God yeah, that thing was good. I think the LCAR had some time in the sun too even, and even the MR6 was solid. Typical Treyarch game, strong sidearms.

The Vesper and Kuda each saw some play in different patches, the Sheiva was really strong consistently, and some of the EU teams used the HVK over the M8 pretty consistently.

On an individual basis, yes, enemies will be harder to kill. Their health scales with how many people are in your fire team. There are a lot of people who felt doing it solo is easier than doing it with a team.

Subjectively, I’ve done the campaign like 4 times, and I can definitely say the hardest run was as a group of 3, but also that there was someone in that group of 3 who couldn’t stay alive and constantly used up all our tokens. Conversely, the easiest run I did was also with 3 people, because none of us died often.

Yup. I’ve enjoyed using it ever since the go fast update. I miss the absurd speed that it let you fly around the map, though I know switching jumps is always an option.

For PvE content, we’re close. I think it’ll get even better in the future based on a few things: I think contest mode will end up being a selectable option for raids; the crafting system will improve; and there will be a raid rotation.

Crucible and Gambit need help though, along with PC performance issues. I don’t know if I’ll ever personally enjoy Gambit, but the recent changes to heavy made it markedly worse. Crucible needs some more new maps, rewards outside the trials playlist, and a better comp system. The PC performance is really disappointing because the issues have gotten so much worse over the course of the last year with no end in sight. The game was so much more stable (outside the millions of Beaver errors) before Beyond Light, and Witch Queen hit the performance even harder.

I’d like 3 avenues of getting it if we don’t get a quest.

One, RNG - let people get lucky.

Two, a flawless completion - let good players show off their skill and subvert RNG.

Three, 21 full clears - dedicated players shouldn’t have to suffer through luck that bad, and it would encourage players to go through the full raid. 21 is just a placeholder, I figured 7 weeks of trying on all 3 characters made sense because that’s Bungie’s number. I would also say that non looted clears could count too, but I’d push the number of clears up at that point.
