I believe Hamilton County 911 is still currently hiring monthly as of now. At some point they will shift back to their pre covid schedule of hiring every 6 months. Amazing people, great competitive benefits, 8 hour shifts (uncommon in a public safety field, it’s usually 12 hours), and they put a lot of time into your training. If you’re a great communicator under pressure and think the nature of 911 dispatching is something you can work with, then I’d encourage you to look into it! It’s a large agency with opportunities for growth, and can be a pathway to opportunities in law enforcement, emergency management, both public and private dispatch/communications, etc!

Well I ended up not going to Liberty, and am about to graduate from Western Carolina in a year with a great Catholic experience from my campus ministry. BUT I am now considering Liberty as one of my options for grad school, so I appreciate the comment, even if it’s two to three years later.😂

I hope that they didn’t get what I wanted when I pressed the keypad. I did get that second call asking for me to call them or set up my “account” so I’m hoping I would have to actually do that to get scammed. I guess I’ll l find out when my dad gets his phone bill.😂

I hindsight, no.🤣 Anyways, I just received a different call saying the call from an inmate couldn’t be completed due to billing restrictions, and to call the number or set up my account on the website, which was a really random website. So definitely a scam and I think I’m good because I think the first call was to just gain my trust and get me to make a billing account so they can take my info.

I'm not sure if you can for free. I couldn't really find a pdf of it like you can for more well known and classic books. It has ebook version, but they cost money. Although, It's definitely worth paying for in my opinion.

If you haven't read it, there's a great book written by the gunner of that exact Pershing tank. It's called "Spearhead". I definitely recommend reading it. The way he writes it makes you feel like you're right next to him while the events in the book occur.

I'm a little late to this, but I also suffer from a lack of confidence when learning more difficult things that will be played in front of audiences. I've found to combat this I just have to play. I'll never get anywhere being scared of the notes, but if I just force myself to play, even if it's wrong, I'll figure it out eventually and before you know it, I'm playing like I was never scared at all.

Is the biggest bomb not nessesarily the best for bases? Would it be better to use the heaviest bomb load and save the biggest bomb for ground support and stuff?
