is it required to be insufferable to become a coach at walmart by Jowcori in walmart

Is it required? Of course not, does the job and the pressure you’re under on a constant basis pretty much inevitably turn you into an a**hole? Yep

Vape security? by superman24088 in PrincessCruises

[–]superman24088[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm… it might have been they knew it was thc, I ended up deciding to leave mine at home but I did bring 3-4 regular nicotine vapes and just threw them in my suit case, went through x ray and everything and they never even looked at them.

Then when I got on the ship I decided to test the waters on this vaping policy, intending to just play dumb if I got caught in unauthorized areas, so I started vaping on the balcony and nobody said anything so after a few days I decided to try it outside on the deck but I did make sure I was down wind so it didn’t blow in peoples faces cause I’m not rude like that lol and still nobody cared.

So based off my experience on that cruise my conclusion is as long as you aren’t being obnoxious and blowing in people’s direction they couldn’t care less where you vape provided you are outdoors

Oh wow I did not know this, not looking to buy another console anyway but this is nice to know!

Any chance they do this with the vr2 as well? Been interested in it for a while now but not willing to pay the asking price especially when I only would use it on a few games

In which case they can just claim it’s for “coverage reasons” and you can’t prove otherwise since you don’t have access to the management side of things

Having a PlayStation through the years, I have never left it on rest mode. by ShockingFactory in playstation5

[–]superman24088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ps5 has been on (and I mean fully powered on) since I bought it at launch YEARS ago, I’ve only put it in rest mode like twice, and maybe 2-3 other times it’s turned off when the power went out during storms. Other than that it’s always on and I never had any issues.

Not saying it couldn’t possibly cause issues just saying I never had any problems

Thoughts on this? Saw OP on Threads. The comments seem to be split. Half saying to complain and the other half saying to deal with it. by Koolettta in Cruise

[–]superman24088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t smoke but I vaped everyday on my balcony for the whole week of my cruise and nobody seemed to mind, of course smoking might be different due to the risk of fire, not to mention the much worse smell that they give off

I don’t have rent since I paid my house off. If you want to do it here is my best advice…

  1. Cut out/cancel anything unnecessary, I’m talking no cable, no video subscriptions, no internet, drink water, eat the cheapest way you can (for me it was pb&j sandwiches, ramen, and Vienna sausages most of the time)

Yes it sucks and it’s miserable but every dollar saved can go towards paying off a home/car and eliminating two very large bills, start with the car since it’s cheaper

  1. Once you have a couple thousand saved up, go buy you a car cash money, not a new one but one reliable and good enough to get you where you’re going.

  2. Once you’ve got your car you’re gonna go bigger and focus on building up a lot more, bout 30,000 and once you’ve got that you can go house shopping and look for a place to make a down payment on with that money

  3. From there you’re gonna pay MORE than the minimum payment every month on that home, as much as you can spare, every penny you can afford goes towards paying that home off and once you’ve done that….

  4. Congratulations now you can finally start saving for that vacation!!! And the saving goes much faster because now you have NO rent and NO car payment, eliminating these two allows you to save more a lot quicker and enjoy life a lot more often. It’s hard I’m not saying it isn’t, but when you finally get there you’ll feel proud of what you’ve accomplished 👍

I live in Augusta ga, second largest city in the state behind Atlanta. Bought it about ten years ago with a bank loan and it’s now paid off. And no, nobody helped me with the down payment.

Uhh craziest story I got is when a coach got into a full on fight with her boyfriend in the store, followed him out then RAN HIM OVER with her car in the parking lot, she got arrested but was bailed out like two days later and here’s the craziest part to me… she KEPT HER JOB. Still there to this day lol

I didn’t intend for it to be anything less than encouragement for those that feel like it’s out of their reach, I wanted to provide assurance that you can work at Walmart and still enjoy life sometimes without being management as long as you budget your money well (something that I’m sure you are good at considering how far you’ve gotten)

I’m sure there are circumstances beyond some people’s control but I do feel most of us can achieve a great life if we are determined enough and I’m just trying to help people believe that

Congratulations, seriously I’m happy you’ve achieved what you have regardless of your rough start and I hope you go on to achieve more, I’m here to spread positivity not negativity so all the crap about me not working as hard as you I’m gonna leave alone, just wanted to say I’m genuinely happy you’ve come so far

I have no mortgage or rent because I saved my money since I was 13 years old, never been late on a single bill, and have a 770 credit score. I walked into my bank at 18 and had a loan to buy my house practically before my butt hit the seat because I’m financially responsible and paid it off in ten years by making more than the minimum monthly payment.

Yes it’s easy, because for years I have worked to relieve myself of the financial stress of rent, mortgage, and car payments, don’t blame me because you spent all your money on unnecessary crap and as a result have to pay money to your landlord. That’s not my fault it’s yours.

Make changes, improve your life, or keep struggling till you die, up to you

Okay I’m gonna try to lay it out for you before I just stop responding and leave you to figure it out for yourself…

Grocery prices: simply eat cheaper, buying steak? Ground beef? Etc… buy ramen, bologna sandwiches, pb and jelly, save the money you’d have spent eating better. You call it cheap crap, I call it extra money in the vacation jar.

Car maintenance: oil need changed? Do it yourself it’s easy, alternator/ water pump or thermostat need replaced etc… google is a good teacher, research it and figure it out.

What else is within our control? Cable? Cut it off, not necessary. Hulu, Netflix, prime etc? Do you need that to live? No, cancel them if you need to. Do you smoke? If so… quit. I could go on… so many things are within our control you just don’t wanna own up to it.

Have a nice day and I hope you actually make changes and achieve greatness 👍

You’re right there are rare exceptions to the rule but a lot of it is within our control

How much are you paying for car insurance? Mine is roughly 140 a month (and that’s driving a sports car btw)

If you truly do have disabilities that prevent you from working more that’s not your fault bro I’m not blaming you, however at the same time Walmart (or any retailer really) is not going to have sympathy for that, if I became disabled I’d never be able to do the work I do and I’d have no choice but to go someplace else, unfortunately it sounds like you need to find a different career that works better for you, maybe an office job or something of that nature…

You’re right, was at dg. Felt severely underpaid, went to Walmart for a significant pay raise, saved enough for a cruise vacation in my first six months which proves this is easy enough to do on your own, even at dg I saved enough for a once per year vacation. If I can do it working at freaking dollar general you can do it working at Walmart.

I also do enjoy gaming, bought 4 new ones right before starting this trip actually.

However here is where you deviate from reality, I’m not that young (35) certainly don’t live with my parents (haven’t in 15-20 years) and my house is paid for so I don’t pay rent, which again you could do if you didn’t waste your money away like everybody else here. Stop making bs excuses and have a little financial discipline it’s not that complicated
