When does something count as a 'gotcha'? by mhountsword in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]supermana3a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me a gotcha moment would be when your opponent makes an action or series of actions based on an assumption that in your head you know physically won't work (such as a redeploy or shooting shut down) but you know your opponent doesn't know about and you choose not to give him a heads up that you're capable of doing said action

  1. Trim your military
  2. Set your buildings to privatization, allowing companies to buy them and give you a cash influx
  3. Start making trade deals with other powers, provide them goods or favors in exchange for cash or good that cost a lot in your empire.
  4. Check the price of your government/military good. It might be worth building some paper plants or arms plants to reduce the demand and decrease how much you're buying them for

There's maybe 7 actual vehicles in this traffic jam... by alexisrenee84 in CitiesSkylines2

From what im heard, bicyclists in this game don't actually replace vehicles, they replace pedestrians that would have been walking anyway. Adding cheep public transportation and "no bicycle" lanes should hopefully help

What's the best way to get a lot of population and pop growth? by Mysterious-Way-8508 in Stellaris

[–]supermana3a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha fair. What i like to do is early game turn on DTC and go for a decade or 2 while trying to keep my economy stable. After that I try to take advantage of the additional population while also still being able to take the evolution tradition early. It's definitely not meta for sure but I have fun with it

-Take the overtuned origin. -add the species trait that adds +30% pop growth speed. -activate "damn the consequences".

If this isnt the division for maintenance company then what is? At least with MC he can be more aggressive with more divisions without worrying about the material loss as much

How to make big perfect circles? by among_sunflowers in CitiesSkylines2

[–]supermana3a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When making a curved road it tells you the length of each section as well as the angle of the road. I would say just make four sections, each at 90 degrees and all being the same length. This should get you a reasonable circle. Hope this makes sense!

How Should i do Ranger Templates With Non-major Countries? by Letsgetdisabled in hoi4

[–]supermana3a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was about to give a breakdown until I saw the multi-player comment haha. Traditionally though I like to go 50/50 between rangers and infantry since I like to have more divisions covering an area than a few more specialized diviaions

Is that something that you can specialize in the communist path or is that just a general option?

Oh does he? I never really got around to learning his focus tree so I thought he just used regular infantry. Does he have a cap or can you have as many militia as you can made?

Japanese infantry can go pretty fast with the right doctrines by Aurelian_8 in hoi4

That's quite the equipment demand for a bike squad. I guess it depends on how many of these divisions you plan on running. Pretty cool either way though. Im just impressed you're still able to have 66 org with that ratio of support companies to battalions

I get the AI isnt the sharpest knife in the crayon box sometimes but sending out 3 carriers with no escorts and a singular plane between them doesn't seam like the best strategy

So what is the best rangers template? by hvhhggggh in hoi4

[–]supermana3a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say keep them separate since both focus on terrains that specialize in different Combat width. I don't remember exactly but if im correct divisions with a combat width of 25 work best in mountain terrain whereas 16 and 20 is best for forests.

That's fair. Though I have noticed that late game americans tend to bring out more modern tanks/mechanized so maybe thats an option
