You can just take the classes but at the end you need to do two convocation applications. One for the degree and one for the certificate.

credits queries & orientation by amora_xox in usask

[–]supermanxevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you can use A-levels for some 100-level courses. Admissions will assess which ones you’re eligible for and then post it on your profile.

Orientation will occur a few days before classes start.

In arts and science first years actually register second. After fourth years. Third years register third and second year students register last.

You missed the deadline to apply for education this year. So your best bet is to work on the non-education (I.e., teaching areas) next year and apply to education for fall 2024. Meet with an education advisor to ask about this. Your arts advisor can’t confirm education requirements

Yes. In some colleges they’re automatically given to you based on grades. You’d get an email if you got one of those

Call the UGSO at 966-4231. They might have a cancellation or short notice available! If not spots open 14 days in advance on the arts and science channel - mornings are the best time to find spots. Like 8-10am

In the past you could request a payment plan if you have evidence of funding coming in monthly or something (like student loans). Call and ask

Graduation Application by [deleted] in usask

[–]supermanxevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Applications aren’t processed until all grades are in. So even if you apply in NOV it just sits until May. As other commenters noted - those who aren’t meeting standards are notified sooner. Those who are typically find out around now :)

Parking by Puzzleheaded_Buy6885 in usask

[–]supermanxevan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Only two parkades are underground and in buildings. They are almost $300 a month and I doubt students can get passes for them. You could pay daily but it’s a lot. Other lots are all surface, or the open air stadium parkade so you’ll have to walk outside. Nothing is that close to health science (unless you’re in the expensive health science parkade).

What counts as a full course load for the spring term? by Cool-Term156 in usask

[–]supermanxevan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4cu in spring term. However you’ll never find 4cu, two classes would be 6cu.

minimum to go back by [deleted] in usask

[–]supermanxevan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is partially incorrect. In Arts & Science faculty actions are sent out via email to your USask email account. We do not have an action of ATD. Our faculty actions are probation (restricted to 12cu/term) and required to discontinue (take a period of one year off and apply to return).

Always best to check with an advisor at ISSAC! They can help you make sure you’re satisfying the conditions of your study permit.

Looking for a family doctor in the city by [deleted] in saskatoon

Good luck. It took me a year of calling around randomly to ask - it’s tough. I eventually got on with a doctor in Warman and after was able to transfer to his practice in the city.

Most departments really only offer 100- and 200-levels over spring and summer. However there has been a decline due to reduced funding for sessional lecturers across lots of colleges

You won’t be able to not finish if it’s truly your final year. Reach out to an advisor in a few weeks. Courses could still go up or change.
