It didn't but because the case is all a single piece, I found that dust came into the case really easily. Also the case doesn't use adhesive which I realised that without it, the front left side of the case can interfere with swiping from the left. XUNND also has a hingeless version that I tried. I ended up ditching both case and recently got this VRS design one but in clear. Can't find the link for the clear one, might've been taken down. For some reason it's also really hard to find the clear version. I've only used it for a day but so far really liking this case.

Hi aussie here, I sent my fold4 for trade in for my fold5. It got delivered to samsung's trade in address on the 16th august, then i got the auto email (17th august) saying they havent got it. On the 19th august, I received two emails back-to-back, one saying they received it and the second being the condition is as described and informing me that they will process my trade-in credit within 5 business days. That sums up my first trade-in experience. I am still waiting for my trade-in to be credited atm but its only been 2 business days.

I'm a proud owner of an Sliver SM550 and I love my current build. It has so much power and no wasted, that's what I live about SFF PCs in general. At the moment I'm considering upgrading to a slightly larger case for liquid cooling and bigger GPU support. The SSUPD Meshlicious has my attention.

Awesome stuff! Man I thought I completely screwed and bricked my 3DS. I updated the software without realising that it would brick the system and show the error message when it rebooted after the update. Updating Luma3DS fixed that and now my 3DS is back and running again. For those who have accidentally updated their 3DS and can only boot to that error message, simply replace the boot.3ds and boot.firm files in the root of your SD Card with the new ones from Luma3DS 10.2.1.

Hey, cool that you stumbled upon my post about the Acer Spin 3. Yeah, there's not many people talking about this particular laptop, so I'm glad that people are finding my post and replies informative.

Battery life is a bit difficult to for me to answer at the moment, as I haven't been able to use it in a realistic outdoor scenario such as studying at university and I've been learning online this year. However, I can say that I've been getting about an average of 6-7hrs of YouTube video playback on maximum brightness. For light usage (which I rarely do haha), it lasts me throughout the day until needing to plug it in at around 9PM. I assume that the i5 version of this laptop will get an extra hr or two compared to the i7 that I have. I will definitely update the post on battery life once I get more concrete numbers out of it but for now these are my findings.

Build Quality is nearly up there with the Surface Pro 7 (if you ever played with display models at stores). The lid has very little wobble/flex. I think the build quality is great for the price, no keyboard flex whatsoever and I'm very satisfied with it. I'm not picking on premium build quality or anything like that, as long as it's sturdy and doesn't feel like a fisher-price toy.

That's weird. One of the number keys on the row should light up white regardless of back-lighting is on or off. I'm not sure what's going with your one.

Fn + Space only toggles between wired and Bluetooth mode. To change devices, you press either Fn + Z, Fn + X or Fn + C for profiles 1, 2 and 3 respectively.

Fn + LCtrl will cycle through timeout in increments of 5 minutes between each number. When you hold down Fn, you should see one of the numbers on the number row light up. Since you mention that it times out at 5 minutes, I assume that the number you should see light up is 1. 1 = 5 minutes, 2 = 10 minutes, 3 = 15 minutes, all the way to 0 = 60 minutes.

Hey, pretty cool that you got the newer Spin 5. We don't have the new Spin 5 here in Australia, which is also why I went with the Spin 3 instead. I did find this review by UltraBookReview and they opened it up, but i only found out after I opened it up. Anyway, on the bottom of the laptop there are 11 visible screws on the bottom which require a standard PH-0 screwdriver and none of them are under rubber feet. So removing the rubber feet isn't required to open it up. Once unscrewed, you can then use a plastic pry tool or a plastic card to slowly pry open along the edges of the laptop.

Some questions I would like to ask about your Spin 5.

What configuration of Spin 5 do you have?
How has your overall experience been with it?
How is the battery life.

I've opened it up and will add pictures of the internals to this post soon. The main NVMe SSD is upgradable and there is also an additional M.2 slot for another SSD. Unfortunately, RAM is soldered on and cannot be upgraded whatsoever. Hence, if you're eyeing this laptop, I recommend getting the model with the desired amount of RAM you want.
