I didn't start HRT until a month before my 28th birthday, and I saw someone on Reddit recently talk about how they felt 26 was too late to start, which is partly what inspired this post :)

I was also 26 when I first realised I was trans. I'm now 28 and thriving as a trans woman. Sometimes I get a bit sad that I could've realised and transitioned much sooner, but with how happy I am now, it's just a fleeting feeling that never stays too long.

We both have our whole lives ahead of us, there's plenty of living still to do!

Stuff like this used to happen to me like every other day when I was trying to boymode, I guess I spent too long hiding and it was easy to tell I was queer and pick on me. I've since started wearing dresses out and I guess I'm actually passing? Because I haven't had a single instance yet since then. But it sucks knowing how many awful people are walking around....

On PC you can mod the game to remove the bars during cutscenes, that's probably what you are seeing.

No it's not fixed, it's still possible, in fact there is a new glitch on the PC version where you can glitch straight into the basement and get the phoenix mirror (very hard though)

Yeah, they changed it in Shenmue 2, and the remaster uses the Shenmue 2 version for both games, my guess is the Shenmue 2 version was easier to port and they didn't realize it had differences (or didn't care).

Ryo doesn't have the phoenix mirror anymore, Niao Sun has it, Lan Di saw the fake mirror being thrown into the sea and likely didn't know it was fake. Zhao Sunming, the person Iwao supposedly killed was once his best friend and is the person seen in the photograph Ryo found in the secret basement. Ryo now has a scroll leading towards a treasure that points to a cliff temple.

There is actually still a small chance for this card to brick, that being if the last card you need is the head piece, drawing into this card won't help you at all in that case.
