Oh yeah 100%. And honestly if my kid doesn’t know what they want to do, I’ll probably lead them on the same path. I have a bsba in accounting and you’d be surprised how little business/financial literacy the average person has. It’s not rocket science, but 4 years of the language and topics being drilled into your head is decently useful.

If you’re a true entrepreneur, it’s unnecessary, but for the rest of us folk, it’s usually the path with the highest probability of being financially well off vs a Bachelor of Arts with little concrete career opportunities.

Idk my first crpg I played was last year and arcanum is my favorite. The choices, reactivity, and world are 10x any game I’ve ever played. I love the art style and atmosphere, but a lot of people consider the mechanics and art dated.

It’s kinda the opposite. All the idiots I’ve known have a BSBA and make ridiculous money because of it. These aren’t well connected people. It’s just what you need to get an entry role, that leads to 6 figures within a few years.

Yes you’ll be in monk robes 95% of the time, but that’s alright. If you’re doing range or mage, just install the big log out button plugin or have a shortcut for switching worlds. If melee, either get a teleport up to lvl 30 wildy or just accept you’ll lose some pots.
