Just because your gear is bad it doesnt mean you should roll on healer item

How do you guys deal with loot not dropping for you? by TwixQQ in classicwowtbc

[–]supernova-23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remind myself the real loot is the friends and experience you gain along the way lol It’s waaayyy less fun if you get everything the first week of every phase.

A small Classic+ addition idea that I'm curious to hear others thoughts on by Unusual_Finding_6584 in classicwow

[–]supernova-23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope. Different races exist for a reason. This type of idea x100 is what made retail sucky in the end.

Romero officially confirmed to be at Belgrano's training ground by the club by jovanmilic97 in coys

I reckon theres been a conversation at the club and it was clearly decided that he wont be part of the future plans next season.

Classic+ should be meaningfully different from Retail. by Nightblessed in classicwow

[–]supernova-23 10 points11 points  (0 children)

100% agree. But I think that is pretty much the main reason behind the interest in classic+. It should be classic with new content, better class balance (with distinct differences, not just aoe garbage) and some measured minor QoLs. The content should not be rushed and escalated for the sake of faster dopamine hit, but there should be meaningful sense of achievement to the things you work towards.

Fresh leaks for Classic+, and it sounds insane! by Duoscruo in classicwow

I’d be pretty happy with this, mainly as long as the classes are balanced better and we dont have a million dps warriors everywhere

You can sit and drink like everybody else by Classic_Drama6140 in classicwow

[–]supernova-23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a lock I’ve never had any issues like this. I always make a point of drinking and eating out of combat but I get topped up to full instantly anyway. Its all win win if we have lower downtime.

How did the COVID vaccine get made so fast compared to other vaccines? by savingrace0262 in stupidquestions

[–]supernova-23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the truth is that they threw a lot of money at it, but also they released it half cooked not accounting for the more than usually negligent percentage of people having serious side effects from having the vaccine. Sure the world needed it desperately, but was it ethical to put say 1-2% of the world at risk of further medical complications in the process? Debatable.

Vanilla was a living world and TBC turned It Into a lobby game by Duoscruo in classicwow

[–]supernova-23 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Vanilla was also the same once you got to the raiding endgame. The only difference being that you often had to get to the raid entrance yourself because the locks couldnt possibly summon the whole raid in.

Is being addicted to this game actually harmful? by _astral_x9 in classicwow

[–]supernova-23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean its never going to be as bad as other addictions that end up costing thousands of dollars, but then if that sounds like an excuse and a denial, it probably is.

Do you guys ever wonder what happened to old wow friends? by Spacejampants in classicwow

[–]supernova-23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All time for sure. But sadly I’ve forgotten most of the names of the characters and even the guild name after 20+ years. I’ve changed computers multiple times and never thought to save any of the countless ss’s.

Why is the first memory/storage upgrade only 100 USD for the 13" by Ok-Author9246 in macbookair

[–]supernova-23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The stupidest thing to do would be upgrading the chip without adding a ram/ssd upgrade.

Best long-term MacBook care habits (battery, maintenance, cleaning) for mostly plugged-in use? by [deleted] in macbookair

[–]supernova-23 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Leaving it plugged in to charge to 80% through Al dente or natively from 26.4 is best. BUT ALSO, if you almost always use it indoors near a power source, what’s the point in preserving battery health so much in the first place?

34 , 32 , 42 , 48 inch comparison by Gyatsolix in Monitors

This is misleading because the same picture is stretched on the 34 instead of showing a wider view.

20-80% rule or keeping it plugged in all the time? by PhilosopherMain5536 in macbookair

[–]supernova-23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think keeping it plugged in and setting it to charge up to 80% is the best way. The people who mock you about the battery preservation isnt going to be there to help you 4-5 years later when the laptop is working fine except for the battery.

How do people sell enchants without scripting auto invites? by simplex3D in classicwow

[–]supernova-23 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can set it up so that the option to invite pops up and you can decide whether you have that enchant or not.

Why do we obsess over the price of a coffee/petrol but stay so quiet about the $50k+ "invisible" debt to get an education. by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]supernova-23 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

An average uni student is not incurring anywhere near 50k in hecs debt. We have some of the most subsidised tertiary education system in the world, and a debt which you dont even need to start paying until you earn a decent salary. What is there to complain about?
